The place is all right it's nothing special. I prefer a Walmart Supercenter the customer service is OK you can you're going to get everything you want in this place one of the customers was nice. When is it employees told me they were going to whip my ass playing around, but other than that is an all right place

Zero stars if I could. They literally closed 30 min early. Like wouldn't even let you in. Saw them turn away at least 10 customers. Pure laziness.

Ugh! After. 8:00 PM there's no full-service checkouts. That's so beyond acceptable. It makes me angry. The store itself was not that great either. They (as do most Walmart neighborhood markets) have a smaller selection. I just wasn't pleased with my experience at all.

At around 9:40, 1-7-23 I heard screaming and yelling by the milk as I was shopping for barbeque sauce. I only have the ability to grocery shop at night because I'm a nurse and I live on the other side of the street. Making this Walmart a huge convenience for me. This isn't the first time I hear this lady scream at employees as if they are dogs or her children. It is not my business nor do I know the full story. But that is a workplace with no professionalism. I'm ashamed at this stores lack of talent. Never knew walmart stood for mistreating employees as if they weren't respectable humans. I hope the lady or man on the other end of the screaming is still employed and measures are taken. I already had such low respect for the store, now I have no respect for the place. Thank you for showing me what Walmart stands for and to think I wanted my daughter to apply here this week.

This Walmart is filthy and the pharmacy is ridiculous. I called 3 times to get a prescription refilled. The store texted to tell me it was ready and while I waited for 35 minutes (with no one in line in front of me) the people working the pharmacy were too busy flirting with each other to wait on me. When they finally did, the prescription was wrong. When I pointed that out, they were extremely rude and filled a bunch of call in prescriptions before fixing my order. If you decide to shop here, I hope you aren't in a hurry. Also, you would be wise to check your prescriptions before leaving.

I usually come here for the pickup service. Although I've been here numerous times for grocery, I've only been in the actual store twice. The pickup service is quick and easy. I haven't had any real issues except I recieved the wrong type of formula once. The issue was reaolved promptly. The customer service has always been great even he times that I've gone into the store. The cashiers were friendly, which is something most Walmarts that I've visited didn't have. I was able to find everything that I needed, and when I couldn't find something, the workers that I asked helped with smiles. Kid you not! I wish I had gotten names... I especially like this one because they have a variety of the Gardein meatless products at a fair price. Many places don't have these or have a limited variety. The only con is that there was only 2 cashiers when I visited on a Saturday night. The lines moved quickly, but I have to wonder if the "Scan N Go" is causing people to lose their hours.

I shop (shopped) here frequently. They have been "renovating" for weeks-total disruption-aisles aren't labelled. They changed all the inventory around to different aisles. Their inventory control is pathetic. In the middle of the week..Out of butter, yogurt, Blue Bell, vinegar? Really. Lots of shelves empty. They have been replacing the tile floor...you walk in the the smell of the glue and sealer is overwhelming.. I had to leave. Why not just close for 1-2 weeks and get it all done at once. They installed new self check outs - none working 3 days ago....none. Look around for help-it is hit or miss. The parking lot - hard to find a space when carts are all over taking up spaces. if you shop here make sure you grab a cart from the parking lot- and check if it even rolls....most of the carts done or are bent and battered. I just know Walmart makes enough $$ to furnish decent carts-maybe like Target's? They changed the plastic bags also-they were always bad but in a money saving initiative they made them even flimsier. But heres the rub-you have to use two to handle anything heavier than a marshmallow. With all the new checkouts they have placed the bag holders at such an awkward position that it slows down shoppers progress to scan and bag. You have to take some steps to put an item in a bag. I have started going to Rouses-I will pay more not to go thru this nonsense anymore.

HORRIBLE!!! The employees stand around and talk will the managers Janeka and August do nothing about it. One of the the delivery pickup workers was running in the store. Again, nothing was done about it. There are no baskets available, because none of the workers are actually working there. I have a good idea WalMart, check your cameras!! Fyi- People we're complaining about the pick-up orders not being ready, too.

They are redoing the Kenner, La. store on Veterans Hwy. Rumor says they are changing the checkout to only 10 registers but adding many more self checkout stations. Hope this store will like the losses. Many people at self checkout do not scan all the items in their baskets. I saw a lady not scan a box of new pots. I have seen many items not scanned and the Walmart associate just sits at the desk and does nothing. Stealing is simple through self checkout. Good luck in the future Walmart. Cutting cashiers is not the way to save money, sad.

I never was a big fan of Walmart, but I really like this little neighborhood market. The staff members here are so friendly and helpful. They do their jobs well, but you can still see that they enjoy connecting with one another as they work. There is obviously a good work vibe going on here, and it makes shopping so much more pleasant. The fresh food selection is also excellent. I love papayas and guavas, and I almost always find them here. The store is generally very clean. My only complaint is that sometimes they are low on stock and do not have as many organic options as the big Walmart.

On 12/8/17, I stooped by my "local" Walmart Pharmacy to get a prescription filled for pain medication. I was on my way home after overnight surgery and wanted the pills readily available for my 11:00PM dose. We drove up. The attendant asked, several times, if it was pick up or drop off. My wife, the driver, told him, three times, that we were picking up and had the prescription paper in hand. He said, "just a minute." He kept us waiting for about 8 minutes, all along, I was bleeding from my staples (know any good attorneys). He came back and told us that we need to come back In an hour. We asked why and he repeated, with no explanation, "you have to come back in an hour.' We left, and about 25 minutes later got a call that our prescription was ready for pickup. I am ready to change my Humana plan to something else, on,y because of this experience and other lousy Walmart experiences of the past. I am angry. In addition, no one one ever picks up the manager's phone!

This review is for the pharmacy only. I would give a 1 1/2 star if that was an option, but I cannot go up to a 2. I have had many terrible experiences at this pharmacy. All but 2 of the people who work here are generally unfriendly. I have called on at least 4 occasions, and been told my medication would be ready, then arrived to be told it would the ready for hours. A doctor called in a medication for me, I called and they said they had a question about it and put a call in to the doctor. I called a day later to follow up and they told me the doctor pulled the medicine, which my doctor said never happened. So I went to the store to find out what was going on- and they proceeded to tell me that they didn't know what I was talking about, because they never had the script and none of that ever happened. Thank goodness my husband was there for everything or I might think I was going crazy!! There were a handful of other incidents such as this. When I asked to talk to a manager I was told the manager was out of town for 2 months?! I finally moved almost all of my medications to a Walgreens. They stay busy so hopefully other people are having a better experience than I have had- but beware and consider filling at anther pharmacy or another wal mart!

I was in this store on Sunday and they refused to honor the policy on ad price matching from a local competitor for same brand item. The reason they denied my price match is because they said they dont match ads for items where the store loyalty card is required, unfortunately, in order to get any of the advertised items at this store (winn dixie) you must use your card. One of the older cashiers saw me getting ready to leave the store and she stopped me and told me to please wait because she understood that at Winn Dixie, the store loyalty card is always required for the sales and I got the impression that she felt that Walmart should honor itI I had never had this issue before at this Walmart Neighborhood Market regarding ad pricing for this competitor, but to make matters even more upsetting, the customer service manager loudly announced to me in the front of the store that it "Looks like you have an attitude". That did not strike me as the most professional way to handle an upsetting and stressful situation. I will travel a little farther and pay a little more for better service in the future. #bigboxstoresdontcare
