My visit was very pleasant! Kristen and Dr. White were incredibly nice and made me feel comfortable with talking to them about everything that was going on. Highly recommend!

Called to get an appointment for a health concern, left a message and have yet to hear back from them (almost a month later). The same week I got an appointment the next day elsewhere and never looked back. Was highly disappointed because I have been a patient there for years. I hope they do better to serve our community.

Dr. Cestia and his team are amazing. My husband and I both feel that our health is truly a priority. We are grateful for all that Dr. Cestia has done for us.

Went in for a wellness today with Dr.White, he is very kind and listened to all of the concerns I had. He has a great bedside manner and cares about you. Overall great experience !

My old doctor stopped coming in to the point where I only saw him once in 7 years. I didn’t complain because I liked the nurse, but it’s not like I got a discount. Then, they changed nurses. Shortly thereafter I was in a bind with my prescription and the new one treated me very coldly. Even with the staff was unapologetically unhelpful. I had been going there for over 10 years! Anyway, it was just really shocking how little they valued their patients.More recently, I tested positive for COVID and called to see what my GP would recommend (e.g., should I go in for antivirals? Tough it out? Take ibuprofen? etc.) but they put me through to voicemail and I still haven’t heard back from them.Having said all that, there are several nurses there who are awesome, and my doctor was great (back when I actually got to see him).TL;DR, I have to fight through an entire front office of Karens and my doctor for the past 15 years likely doesn’t know my name.

The nurses in this clinic are mean, they have no respect for the patients. If you call in sick and want to see your doctor, they will call you back at the end of the day to say they have no appointments available for 2 weeks or more.

They almost killed me, I've got diabetes and they messed up my insulin prescription multiple times, so I've been rationing insulin.... when I called them, they seemed aggravated that I was asking.

I have been a patient of Acadiana Family Physicians for almost 30 years and have NEVER had a bad experience. The Staff is competent and cordial. The in-house blood tests and X-ray are very convenient. Test results and referrals are handled efficiently and phone calls returned as soon as possible. I believe my medical concerns are heard and treated professionally.

Kind sucks that when you are looking for a family doctor and you are in pain no one can see you. It takes them 3 weeks to finally tell you they can't take you as a new patient. By this time we had already found someone else cause waiting on them my husbands pain continued to get worse. I think it is just sad that you have to be basically interviewed and approved before you can even step foot in the door. Maybe you are good doctors here but we will never know.Just poor example of healthcare not helping sick and hurting people. If I could give a zero I sure would.

How sad that these "doctors" take an oath to help people and even though there are between 13 &14 doctors, including nurse practitioners, that can see patients they call me and say "I'm sorry, nobody is able to see you". REALLY?! So even though my insurance says they are taking new patients and the walk in clinic I went to said they recommend them and they are taking new patients, they won't see me!! So, if you aren't taking new patients why do you take all my history and then say "we will pass your information around and see if any of the doctors will accept you as a patient"? You guys are a disgrace to healthcare!!

When you call to make an appointment as a new patient they take your medical history tell you the doctor will review it then call and say he isn't taking new patients! Then why did you want all my medical history? Then I'm told, a few days later, that NOBODY (theirs 14 Healthcare providers) is taking new patients!! BS they pick & choose their patients! I guess they aren't confident in their abilities and are afraid to care for anyone with any health issues!!

I was very discouraged when I got lied to today saying they're not excepting new patients and the doctor I wanted to see is excepting new patients so beware of this practice and go in person and make sure you get to speak to the person you need to and they're telling you the truth. I would be a first time patient and I was very disappointed and I am beyond angry because why would they turn down the first time patient when the doctor I wanted to see is excepting new patients.
