Took my dog nov 20 on Sunday because she couldn't really breathe I told the man vet that maybe something's stuck in her mouth. They didnt even looked in her mouth. They took x-ray, and nothing was shown.. I brought her to my vet during the week,Turns out that she had a massive tumor in her throat.

Seemed extremely uncaring and I ended up paying $700 for the problem to not even be fixed. They set me somewhere else as if I have anymore money to pay for something that they should have fixed

I had to wait a while before submitting this to give a clear headed review. I brought my dog in on Aug 30 and he was diagnosed with pancreatitis. We left him overnight for treatment. On Aug 31 my wife went to visit him that morning to see how he was, not much improvement. She attempted to visit that afternoon and was told no because he got anxious after she left. On Sept 1 she tried calling 3 separate times throughout the day and was still refused visitation. Around 11pm we get a call saying he was having a bad seizure and they couldn’t stop it. We live 20 miles away and rushed over but he passed away before we got there. He died alone and in a strange place. The owner came speak with us and apologized saying that wasn’t his policy and I thank him for that but it wasn’t much comfort. My dog was only 6 years old and was never away from us so of course he was anxious. Don’t let them deny you visitation, it may be the last moments you get.

They took such amazing care of our baby. They were so kind and diagnosed her right away. They were very proactive and helped us out throughout the way. Their prices were very affordable and we will continue to come here for all emergent needs for our pups. ?

I wish I could give you a 0 star rating. I went in there this morning and yall refused us help because I couldn't afford all of the money. The minute my son and I got home my dog went lemp my son started CPR and bought her back and then it happened again my son tried several minutes of CPR and couldn't bring her back. Do you know how hard it is to watch your 16 year old try and bring his dog back. A dog you didn't even try to save. I understand yall have to make money but I'm sorry that was heartless and cruel. You can come back on here commenting on here trying to make yourself look good I don't care. My son and I know the truth of what happened. I have watched yall have a come back trying to always make it seem like yall are good people and try and make it seem like we are just making things up.

Worst experience! The tech acted as if I didn’t know my own animal . I can’t say her name bc she didn’t tell me her name she wasn’t friendly at all , she was a plus size woman and talked to me like she knew everything and I knew nothing ! The vet Dr was okay but the whole vibe was off . If I could give a half star I definitely would ! I won’t ever bring my pet here unless it’s literally dying !
Update : I refused parvo test bc I have a yorkie at home and i knew almost 100 percent that if he had it my baby would have had it also ! I politely told the tech “I believe it’s a little bug and asked for an otc med, and she said “NO THAT WONT WORK SOMETHING IS WRONG WITH HIM” and then needed up giving me antibiotics anyways she started grabbing his skin he’s a bully his skin is flappy regardless of how much water he drinks . The manager did not get yelled at or agitated with bc we were in the store when you called ….. it doesn’t matter how much experience this lady has with dog 20+ years , I work in healthcare you don’t treat patients like their dumb when their seeking treatment for something !! My dog is completely back to normal as I figured he would be after he got over his little bug . Have a great week . I updated my review bc I won’t be lied on!

I rushed my dog here at night after accidentally cutting my puppy's nails too short. I couldn't stop the bleeding and I was freaking out. This office answered the phone quickly and was knowledgeable. When I arrived, they took her straight back and patched her up in minutes. They were so kind. IM SO GRATEFUL

Extremely satisfied with my visit. I brought my cat here for a UTI. Staff was calm and actually calmed me down. They fixed my baby's issue and I couldn't be happier to have had a place I could bring her that is affordable, kind, honest, and the best part: after hours!!!!! Highly recommend Lafayette Animal Emergency Clinic. I will be coming back if any of my babies have any other issues.

They saved my baby Oliver's life! He was attacked, bleeding badly from his chest and had multiple broken ribs. Everyone there was caring and really put me at ease. Ms.Chloe even came out to the parking lot when I first arrived and carried him in right away. He had to have emergency surgery which was actually not nearly as expensive as I feared. My boy has a bit of separation anxiety and they gave him lots of love, treats, and attention to put him at ease when he had to stay overnight. They were very patient and compassionate even with my many calls to check in on him. Dr. Moreau and the nurses there were amazing! Highly recommend!

I literally can't give this place enough stars! I brought my baby, Valentino in on Saturday for severe dehydration and what they believed was pancreatitis. When he didn't get better by the next day after being on fluids all day and night Saturday into Sunday evening they checked him again and discovered a blockage. Very long story short they kept the hospital open and all stayed at work way longer than they were supposed to, went a whole day with no sleep just do a surgery that saved my baby's life. I'm so thankful for their team. They treat your fur baby like they are their baby too and not just some pet or animal. Dr. Moreau, Chloe, Emaline, Sarah and the rest of the staff are literally the epitome of excellence in every way. I thank God for them!

This ”emergency” vet was absolutely horrible. My dog had vomited the night prior and had projectile diarrhea that was straight blood the day we came in. I waited for 2 hours and people came in after us and went before us. They obviously do not prioritize their dogs. This was the most horrible service ever. Do not go to this vet for emergencies.

My baby was hit by a car and brought her in to get check they told me on her right leg her bone was broken and the left leg it was shatter they took exrays but showed it to me on a phone I never seen that before they wanted me to leave her there over the weekend but I said no cause of the price they wanted to charge so I decided to take her home with some meds they said she would need surgery but they don't do that type of surgery she needed screws which I didn't have that type of money neither 2500 to 3000. 4days later my dog was walking up and down the steps to go potty they said I could of put her down I would never I just wonder how many baby they put down that didn't needed to be put to sleep I just wish they was in the business for the animals and not just the money.

This facility is awesome. Staff was very professional and knowledgeable. Our dog received treatment for poisoning and was seen immediately. Doctor was very compassionate and explained treatment in detail. Pricing is very reasonable.
Would highly recommend this facility.
