The staff is so friendly and upbeat. The food is as fresh as it comes. And so unbelievably filling and delicious! I definitely will be coming back. I’m sad I’ve missed out on it for two years without knowing it!

This is such a nice cafe, and the food is great. We had the scotch egg, BLT, one of their specialty burgers, and a delicious pecan chocolate chip cookie. I will definitely be back to support this small business!

Husband and I visiting Lafayette for our anniversary. Husband has never been to Louisiana so I’m trying to introduce him to some of my favorite things. Black cafe, cappuccino, and beignets 5 stars!
Black Cafe is a locally owned cafe that has a full service espresso bar, standard sandwiches and salads, as well as a few unique items like sweet potato biscuits and scotch eggs.
