About CAJUNDOME & Convention Center
The CAJUNDOME & Convention Center is a large multi-purpose facility located in Lafayette, Louisiana, designed to enhance entertainment and economic vitality in the area. Opened in 1985 and renovated in 2016, it features over 72,000 square feet of event space and hosts a variety of events, including concerts, family shows, and sporting events. Visitors have enjoyed concerts from popular artists like Cody Johnson, Rascal Flatts, and Chris Stapleton, often noting the exciting atmosphere and great sightlines, even from the upper seats. The facility is praised for being clean, organized, and having easy parking. However, some guests have mentioned that the women's restroom is quite far from the main event area compared to the men's. Despite this, many attendees appreciate the helpful staff and the overall experience at the CAJUNDOME, making it a beloved venue for locals and visitors alike. Box office hours are Friday from 10 AM to 4 PM and on event days.
