Made an appointment? Lolololol more like you've set an hour or more long window of time in which they might be able to provide service.
We drove close to 2 1/2 hours and despite having an appointment waited ... And waited.... And waited....
Terrible customer service and do NOT recommend for anyone out of town. Actually, anyone outside of Lafayette, stay at home and contact Carvana.

Very satisfied with the condition in mechanical operation of the car. I’m afraid that’s about where the positive of this review ends. On the day of purchase, the car had a heavy air freshener smell. My salesman told me that they spray a couple of sprays a freshener in every vehicle Upon delivery. After two weeks, it became a parent that the car was heavily smoked in and now, I’m doing all I can to remove the smoke smell from the vehicle. It was never disclosed that the vehicle was smoked in or else, I wouldn’t have purchased . The other issue that I have, which is also a major one, is that I was told the vehicle was current on all maintenance. In truth, the vehicle had 20% oil, life left and dirty oil per the mechanic who changed it. It is difficult for me to understand why you would sell , a vehicle under false pretenses in both cases. I will keep the car and do everything that I can to mitigate the issues myself, but I will not purchase again. I’ve called our salesman three times and he has never returned my call.

The overall buying experience was ok but part of the process I didn’t understand or agree with. My credit was ran on July 19th and I accepted a certain APR and by the time the car was shipped to my location it was Aug 5th and I was told they had to run my credit again even though it was only 2 weeks later and I was told it wouldn’t affect anything will it raised the APR by 8%. So for that they will receive a 1 star rating.

We had a great experience. Is very easy to sell the car at Carmax. They gave us the same exact amount as the online quote. There was no bait and switch.

Just when I thought I couldn't get a vehicle and tried at 4 or 5 dealerships carmax was able to help me. Walked in with just the pre-approval information and they were able to get me into a vehicle I didn't think I would be able to qualify for. Jeremy Douet did a amazing job and some outstanding work to pull this off. Now I can ride around in a comfortable vehicle thanks to him and the carmax team

I got on-line on a Friday afternoon to get a comparison offer for my four year old vehicle. CarMax on-line offer was better than the dealer offer I had received. Scheduled an appointment for the next day. Andrew Hebert was my CarMax representative. Walked out an hour later with a check for the amount quoted on-line. It helped that I had my clean title, valid identification, and the car was in the condition I had stated. Kudos to Andrew and CarMax for making this such an easy and hassle free transaction.

My first time buying at CarMax. I wasn’t planning on purchasing another vehicle until the beginning of the year. But circumstances changed and the truck I really wanted was available close by. I had it shipped locally on the Friday, And Monday afternoon I drove away in my truck! Easy process. Didn’t feel pressured or like I was being taken advantage of. Will 100% buy from CarMax again.
