I had a great experience. This was my first time selling a vehicle to a dealership and I did not know what to expect. The customer specialists at the Lafayette location were very professional. The sale went smoothly and it did not take long at all. Although I did not purchase a vehicle there, I’m sure it would have been just as good. The dealership was very clean. The desks were not messy at all and the floor was spotless and shiny, oh so shiny. When it’s time for my husband to get another truck, we will be going back to Carmax in Lafayette, LA.

The experience was great. Won't deny that it wasn't stressful at first, but carmax made it very easy. The guy Matt who started out helping us was wonderful. Made us laugh a bit to keep us going and set us up better then we expected.

Carelessness and lack of owning up to their mistakes and fixing it in a timely manner- We will be looking elsewhere in result of this. PS: issue still not resolved, a true shame on the way management runs this location.

All around good experience. The staff was very helpful and a great selection of cars. The only thing that was a little off was that we found a pop tart and half eaten candy bar in the car we bought. Not a deal breaker, but just seems they would want to pay more attention to the cleanliness of the cars they sell.

My overall experience was pretty good. Comparing vehicles on line allowed me to find a vehicle that satisfied the bulk of my wants and needs. I would prefer to be able to communicate with one person throughout the buying process. The actual in-person buying process was unnecessarily long (over 2.5 hours to complete the purchase).

My sales rep was wonderful, although, she is no longer at CarMax. She was very pleasant and knowledgeable. All the staff I came in contact with were very pleasant. Five stars for staff.Unfortunately, the automobile I bought needed repairs immediately. It was within the time frame of the 90 day warranty, so I was not out-of-pocket for the repairs, just the hassle and the time. I believe the two issues the SUV had were something that should have been repaired before the vehicle was put on the sales floor. The gasket for the oil drain plug was worn out and the A/C needed freon. And that is why I only gave a three star rating.

I wish I could give this store ten stars. My family and I have been buying from them for years, four or five vehicles so far. They truly set the standard for customer care and never disappoint. I could not recommend another store more than them. Even among the CarMax network of stores, they are standouts.

Absolutely amazing! Got an online price for buying my car. Appointment for the following day was set. I was totally expecting that the online offer was to lead me into CarMax. I was expecting that upon presentation of my car, CarMax would find reasons to lower the online price. Boy! Was I wrong! Not only did I receive a check for the online price but was treated fabulously by every CarMax employee that I interacted with. I’m a CarMax Believer!

There were a few hiccups from the start. I shipped a vehicle to Carmax location in my area. The vehicle showed up without title, therefore I had to wait a few weeks. Once I got someone focused on my case, I began to get regular updates until the matter was resolved.I do recommend Carmax invest in someone that could detail cars once it is decided the customer wants the vehicle. When it comes to purchase day, a nice presentable vehicle makes a difference. I like the details.
