I went there yesterday after 4 pm with 1/4 inch thick iron plates on my trailer from the tank in the picture and I got screwed on my load the guy at the scale told the office it was ferrous shreds it should of been prepared iron short iron I will never deal with y'all while I'm in Lafayette ever again they paid me $108 yesterday for my load I will take a picture of my load paper from yesterday and post it here

Me and my husband went to sell a truck. I called before hand to make sure they would take it, I was told yes they would take it. Well we get there and after they looked at said truck for maybe 45 seconds. We were told that they would not take it because it still had fluids in it. I think they should have said something when I called and asked about it.

I drove over 45 minutes 5o come to EMR All I can say is this place is just Wow. Excellent with great prices and the fellas and the ladies that work there are friendly and very helpful. They have helped me with unsure items directing me to proper area. Saving me money

Never had any problems before today th guy weighing the fine metals didn't feel like working I maybe had 1 extension cord in a trash can full of romex wire so he down graded the entire 100 lbs...not impressed with that worker

Drive on scale is off about 20lbs, feels like employees don't have time for you, bunch of shiny pieces stuck in my tires and sat on the stool listening to the nice lady have a personal conversation for a good 15 minutes before. Don't ask them any questions about scrap metal. They'll laugh at you and say just Google it. Best person here is the guy who runs the non ferrous department.
