About Greyhound: Bus Station
The Greyhound bus station is located within Lafayette's city bus station hub and Amtrak train terminal. It is a very small station, but nicer than normal. The station is open during regular business hours and offers night-owl service with a limited route starting at 6:30 p.m. Next door is the Rosa Parks transportation center, and there is a Post Office and a city office inside. Bus rides are generally good, with drivers described as professional, kind, friendly, helpful, and safe. Buses are typically on time. However, the promised wifi is frequently reported to be very bad and essentially unusable. Station facilities can be lacking, with issues like absent toilet paper. Some pickup locations, like certain truck stops, may have no information available. Passengers are advised to be alert in certain areas due to the presence of hustlers.
