Thanks to Hampton Toyota & their salesmen, Dallas, I'm the proud owner of a beautiful 2015 Tundra in excellent condition. Dallas made sure I was well informed throughout the buying process & made things easy-going. The dealership even offered to remove paint guard from my vehicle, which had become dirty & unsightly with time, for free. I will be visiting Hampton again the next time I'm in the market for a vehicle.

Mrs. Candace was absolutely amazing to work with. She was very knowledgeable about the car I was interested in purchasing and other vehicles on the lot as well. Had a great experience purchasing with Hampton Toyota. I got quick communication from Dallas and Chai was helpful test driving and showing the cars I was interested in. Not an easy task in 100 degree weather. They were super easy to work with and not pushy at all with anything. I had been hearing how crazy and terrible for buyers the car market was and anticipated the worst but very happy with my new to me SUV purchase!

We had the worst experience getting our vehicle serviced at Hampton Toyota. I always try to go to the dealerships when servicing our vehicles, because you would believe they are a little bit more trained with your model of vehicle. We brought my wife’s Highlander for a scheduled oil change and tire rotation on a Friday morning. Upon leaving the dealership and heading down the highway with my newly serviced vehicle, it starting making a weird noise and the entire vehicle starting shaking. I finally made it off the highway and into the Rouses parking lot. After looking over the vehicle I found that they had forgot to reinstall the lug nuts on the passenger rear tire! My heart was already pounding from the initial experience but I was in total shock upon seeing my wheel without lug nuts! I called the service department and they sent someone with lug nuts to install them. I brought it back for inspection and according to them, there was no additional damage. I just cannot believe something like this would happen at Hampton Toyota! This was a couple of weeks ago and the really sad thing is no one followed up with us. Makes you feel as if the customer doesn’t matter and they really don’t give a dam. Very unfortunate experience!

I just bought a new Outlander Sport at Hampton Toyota. I am quite pleased with my experience with both the dealership and it's personnel. My salesman, Mr. Dallas Freeman, was very helpful, knowledgeable and applied no pressure in helping my wife and I decide on our new vehicle. I live in Laplace , La. and had to drive over two hundred miles there and back. The experience was worth every mile. Although I have no plans to buy another soon, I would visit this dealership again if needed. Overall an A+ experience

We’ve been a Toyota family for years and while having dealt with a quite a few dealerships, Hampton has been the worst service we’ve experienced yet. Let me preface by saying, we intentionally chose this dealership and traveled from out of town to give our business to. For starters we were told that an ozone treatment would be done on the heavily smoked in, used vehicle that we were purchasing… to which did not happen. Which was more than apparent once we had to go out and pay for it to be professionally done, not even two weeks later. I guess they assumed we wouldn’t notice, just as they assumed someone wouldn’t notice the extreme odor to begin with. Secondly, they knew we were coming from out of town and still left us with next to nothing in the gas tank. Sure, they weren’t required to but could have been a very small courtesy. Lastly, they sold us a truck without a key for the locked wheel lug nuts. It was a Toyota specific key and yet when we reached out to them for some assistance(within a week of purchasing the vehicle) in getting them taken off, our salesman said he would check with the shop and get back to us. After days of no response, an additional update attempt and grasping at straws on how to find a solution, we brought it to a local Toyota dealer in Baton Rouge where they were able to sell us a key. Thank goodness we didn’t end up on the side of the road with a flat, while waiting around for Hampton Toyota to provide decent customer service on a vehicle purchased from them, less than a month prior. There are far better dealers to not only work with but also give your money to, all the way from BR to Lafayette even and we will make sure to not only stick to those from now on but also to only send our family and friends to those as well.

Donnie Davis is a great sales person who we definitely enjoyed working with. He made the buying experience easy and we'd definitely recommend him to anyone else looking to buy from Hampton. And, he was quick to respond to questions after we left the dealership.

Writing this 4 months after buying my very first car from here!-The day after I bought my car and took it home, the salesman (Donnie Davis) calls me and tells me I have to bring it back because the bank didn’t approve me. I still to this day don’t understand why he would let me take the car home if the bank never approved me!!! I was humiliated and an emotional wreck that whole day due to me just moving to lafayette with no family and asking my coworker to pick me up!It took my boss calling the bank and convincing them to let me keep it for them to do so. Salesman did not have a care in the world about how much damage and stress he caused.-2 months after buying my car, I find out one of my doors has the rubber seal DUCK TAPED on!!!! I went to vacuum my back seat and after opening my door, I was hit in the face with the duck taped seal almost completely hanging off. Despite the warranty I pay an extra $50 a month for, they wanted me to pay $200 to fix it. (My car is a 2018, not an old piece of junk.)-Now, 4 months after buying my car, Im due for an oil change. I had to call 5 TIMES over 2 days just for them to finally tell me 1) $25 for labor and 2) they don’t know and just cannot tell me how much the parts are. They absolutely have no clue how much the oil and filter will cost. I have to schedule an appointment if i want to get the price (after they already change it).This place has been such a headache trying to work with. They do not care about you as a person at all, you’re just another sale for them. This was my first car ever, bought completely by myself at the age of 19. Worked my butt off for months to put down $6000 cash. They don’t care though. Again, I was just another sale. After leaving this review, Im sure it’ll be overlooked with still no care in the world. Because at the end of the day, they made their money and that’s all they care about!

I’m a 1st time buyer and my experience with Surika as my salesman was pleasant . He was prompt, informative, honest, and easy to work with. He made sure I left with exactly what I wanted a 2020 Honda civic! Will definitely go back for all my car buying needs!
