About Heymann Performing Arts Center
The Heymann Performing Arts Center is a 2,200-seat venue that hosts around 180 events each year, including Broadway musicals, theatre, dance, concerts, comedy, and cirque. It also features grand ballrooms for events like banquets, Mardi Gras balls, and corporate meetings. The auditorium is nice, well-maintained, and comfortable, with not a bad seat in the house; it is described as smaller and more personal. The performance stage is not considered very impressive by some, but the cast and crew make it impressive, and the venue brings a variety of awesome shows for all ages. Parking can be bad, with lots of adjacent parking in lots and a concrete building next door, though arriving just before a show may cause delays. The atrium and entrance are noted as small and a little crowded for the size of the theater. Amenities include drink bars with fast service, though prices are the usual ridiculous prices for such event sites. The staff and ushers are amazing, knowledgeable, and very helpful. The venue is also known for serving the community as an emergency shelter and vaccination center. It is a wonderful venue that is highly recommended.

Nice, spacious atmosphere, clean bathroom and friendly staff everywhere you go to assist you if needed. Balcony seating is the best!

I love performances here as the venue is a good size to see well from anywhere. The drinks are a little pricey if you want alcohol but not as bad as the Saenger for sure. I recommend this venue.
