We've been customers of theirs for about 20 years. Never had any issues throughout all of the expansion and merging.

Terrible customer service. Unresponsive, not very upfront with their terms and conditions.

Worst telephone customer service in the history of banks. Over the last 8 years, my password has suddenly stopped working a dozen times or more and no matter how much information you give them it is never enough. Even on a business account, they want your personal social security number (which if not illegal, it should be), then your EIN, then your account number, then they start quizzing you about transactions, then if you get past that they claim there is a code on the account that you must give them. They simply could not care less about helping you as a customer. The representatives are smug and pretentious, not caring at all if you go away with no assistance. This is so sad because the branches are as good as gold. But the phone line people are simply horrible. Perhaps First Horizon Bank will perform a much-needed house cleaning of those horrible, unhelpful, phone people.

Don’t go through the drive thru unless you have nowhere else to be

Apparently they don't know how to update addresses. Sent my title to an old address in spite of being given my correct address!

I went open a checking account online, it says This account opening process will only take a few minutes to complete. You can also save and retrieve the application later if you need to. We welcome all applicants who reside in Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, Tennessee, and Texas states to apply online. You must also be a United States Citizen to apply for an account online. For all non-U.S. Citizens, please go to your nearest branch to apply for an account. They took my application got photo id and documents signed, then they tell me I have to live within 60 miles of a branch. as you can see it says nothing about this. You would think that the computer taking the applications would notice that the address you are applying from is not within 60 miles of a branch. Its a simple programming issue. I called to complain, I could not get anyone within customer service to answer the questions. I just kept getting the run around and excuses. I asked for someone over this department to discuss the issue with. They would not give me any contact information for anyone higher up in the system. They wasted my time for 3 days. So I would avoid this bank.

Every Christmas this bank is always decorated so beautifully! There is even a chair for a photo opportunity! Small bank feeling. They know most customers by name. Even if they don't know your name, they will make you feel important. It's not just the small talk either. It's the smile, the looking in your eyes when they speak to you. Great hours. The drive thru stays open longer than the lobby. There is a separate drive thru line for the atm traffic. It's covered and you don't have to leave your car.

I am a customer of Iberia Bank, as I was starting a business and moving to Lafayette. I have had wonderful interactions with the staff. I opened my account at the West Pinhook branch and received professional service from everyone there, including all the tellers and the managers. Then I realized the downtown branch in the tower was much closer. All of my workers were cashing their checks there and they told me about how helpful the tellers were. I started making my deposits there. I got to meet Miss D, Delores, who helped me with many complicated transactions. One day I saw the person who had helped me open my account, Kyle Riemer, in an office there. He had spent a lot of time helping me to decide what type of account I needed and helping me to set it up. He had transferred to the tower branch. How fortunate for me, the easiest relationship banker to work with and the most experienced teller both in the same place. This is a wonderful branch, lots of parking, convenient to downtown, and excellent personnel. It is also really beautiful. The Christmas decorations were gorgeous. If you haven't already, you should give this branch a try. Kathy D I have one complaint about Iberia Bank. If you need to go inside, the only branches that have Saturday hours are all located at one end of Lafayette, very near each other. If they can't open the tower on Saturday then they should at least open the Moss St. branch for those of us who need to see a banker on a Saturday and who live on the other side of town. Thanks!

Wow, where to start- you cannot change your address over the phone or online; you must visit a Branch in person. Kind of a catch 22 if you move where there are no branches.

This is the most rude unprofessional bank I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. Their customer service is rude and non existent. When you call in the tellers and manager are snotty and disdainful. Their practices are bordering on illegal as they give out loans without proper documentation.

My husband has banked with Iberiabank since 1998, he added me a few years later after we were married. Our branch was closed and our account moved to another branch. When that happened we noticed our checks were being re-ordered, and returned. Some days as much as $250 in overdraft fees. The area manager Ms. Kay commented at one time that "there sure was a lot of money going through our acct. Some years we had ad much as $5000 in overdraft fees. It was always ok until I threatened litigation. When I did that they decided to close our acct. I went through the proper chain of command asking for help and other solutions. Still unresolved, but not quite finished. We opted out of the overdraft lawsuit in 2012 but we won't opt out again.

Worst customer service. I called on different banks to get a commercial loan. Every other bank in town was so nice and helpful in taking care of me. This bank transferred my call over 4 times. I was put on hold for 25 minutes and then transferred to the number I originally called. So many other nice banks in town....don't waste your time with this one.
