This was one of my favorite experiences! I loved every aspect of the job and the volunteer work, and I loved meeting and working with the kind-hearted people along the way. A truly great place to be ?

I understand the whole coin shortage and all. But a sale of $12.38 rounded up to next dollar $13.00. Why short ME $.62 and NOT THEM $.38?????WHENEVER I GO BACK I WILL MAKE SURE TO HAVE COINS.

AWESOME program!!!!! One must first understand this is not FREE housing! It is a LONG process and it is HARD work. You must put ALL of yourself into to it; and have FAITH it will happen for you! Stay focus, driven and most important, PRAYERFUL! An Awesome, loving STAFF and VOLUNTEERS that keep coming back to help. Last point to remember when it gets tough, Know that your hard work will be well WORTH it in the end!!!!!! ♡

I found construction director to be rude and prejudiced towards individuals from other states and towards individuals with an obviously more educated background. This framer turned director has represented HFH in a very unprofessional and degrading way. After working with multiple Habitats in multiple states, I'm proud to work with all other locations except Lafayette. This office turns away qualified volunteers and potentially qualified employees. The comments heard about volunteers is quit disturbing and not fair towards these volunteers. I truly expected more from an organization that should always be serving the public, not themselves.
