Had an account there for my car ... Everything was going ok then my son died and I tried to tell them this they didn't care they just wanted their money ... Then they repoed the car ... And then wants to tell me that I shouldn't have missed a payment when they said that I told them nobody offered any help when I told them when I was applying for the loan I had to stop cause my son was being transported from lady of lakes in BR to children's hospital of New Orleans ... But again this bank don't care so I don't care to pay them a dime cause they didn't wanna help when I needed help but they quick to big you for money all the time all hours of the day

I love banking with this credit union! However, I wish the representatives were more attentive. Every time I walk in to speak with someone at a desk I end up having to wait at least 30 minutes even though no other customers are here before me waiting to be assisted. and I understand they may have other things going on, but no one even addressed me, or told me that they would be with me soon.

Been with this bank for years and at first i loved it ..but god forbid if you are having banking problems and need to speak with a human after banking hours or on the weekend or during a holiday. Its ridiculous that you can only talk to a person between 8-5 M-f and thats if the bank is even open.

The communication, the customer service was very distasteful! I was not pleased with Angella. When I went to speak with someone higher (Josh) I still have not received any type of contact. After I did not receive any thing from Josh I called again to speak with someone over Angella, and Josh and was referred to Cinnamon again nothing. The service started on August 25 and still haven’t heard from any one. I guess it was a bad week/weeks for Meritus. My concerns were definitely put on the back burner. I feel like I was not a priority. The process honestly was very weird with no explanation. 0/10 would not recommend.

On the surface, a great bank; however, there are many things that this bank has fundamentally wrong. One of the many small inconviences that are provided by this bank is that you may NOT log into, nor check the balance of your account on the mobile banking app past 12:00AM midnight, and if you have any problems with out-of-state travel transactions past 5 PM, well you're SOL because their office closes at 5:00PM sharp and there will be no one able to assist you.

I’ve been with this credit union for at least four years and they care nothing about the customers. I’ve noticed they give information to get you to open another account and charge excessive fees instead of alerting you when something is wrong. As of today this rip off credit union has stolen over $500 during this pandemic so I have no choice but to find another place where I’m appreciated ! They lied when I walked into the Carencro location and only credited me back 197.00. Where is the over $200 this place has been pocketing every month? This is an establishment that needs to be shut down!

Do you want to get no help at all and then be told, thank you, we appreciate your business? Go here. Want a bank who won't even open for 4 hours on Saturday when their members are actually off? Go here. If not, don't waste your time, find a bank who actually wants your business.
