Absolute incompetence. Had to deal with them regarding my mother's account. Their inability to get her money to her nursing home caused her to be evicted. Do not recommend.

This branch gets slower every time I visit it. And it’s the only location in Lafayette so it’s my only option. You could have all your ducks in a row prepared for them and you will still wait 20 minutes for any transaction, whether you go inside or through the drive thru. The drive thru is always terrible, though.

Visiting a dying friend in Lafayette, came from Houston. My boyfriend needed to cash his check, so we went to this branch. There was an issue with the check so we waited in the car until it was resolved.In the meantime, I had to use the restroom very badly. When I went in, asking where the restroom was, I was asked if I had an account. I said no, but my boyfriend did. They said I couldn't use the bathroom because I'm not an account holder! My boyfriend could have, but not me!I actually planned on opening an account back in Houston based on my boyfriend's experience, but not only am I not doing so, my boyfriend will be closing his account, as will his employer, whose check he was cashing.

I only selected 1 star because there was no zero option. I've done business with regions for 30 years. After going through drive thru, I parked and walked 40 feet to moncus park to see what was going on. After 30 minutes, I came back to find my car had been towed. These idiots had my car towed on a Saturday afternoon- when they were closed. In a shopping center parking lot. THIS IS A RACKET. We are from out of town. Now have to pay for a cab AND $172 cash for tow fee. Way to go city of Lafayette. Will be closing all of my regions bank accounts on Monday morning.

My visit here was amazing! They took care to answer all of my questions and made sure to explain everything to me clearly. I didn't even have to wait long. Less than a minute for my appointment to begin.

Absolutely the worst customer service I have ever received from a banking establishment (specifically a worker named Pam). I have banked with many other locations and I a good experience but EVERY single time this location is awful.

For obvious reasons, this bank is part of the car-towing racket on Saturday mornings —which preys upon visitors from out of town and state that just want to help support local artists and small businesses at Moncus Park. Instead, they allow tow trucks to use their property to snare visitor’s vehicles, leaving them no option but to use their ATM and its shady $4 use fee to provide cash-only payments to their “podnah’s” tow company. Needless to say, Lafayette will no longer receive my support as a tourist or customer, and I’ll never recommend Regions Bank, nor the businesses near this bank to anyone.

The drive-through teller did not read the back of my checks and made a $3000 error. When I tried to call the branch no one answers the phone. Very frustrating. It's ridiculous that they don't have a working number for the branch. #143 is incompetent. Please don't send me to your website and sont give me the toll-free number. These options take 48 hours. Some people need their money and don't have time for this.*update: called the toll-free number. Was assured they would transfer the $$. Days later spoke to representatives on 2 separate occasions. The money was taken out of my account and put right back in. 9 days later, back at square 1. Drove to the bank. Withdrew the $ from my account and then deposited it into other account. I dealt with 4 incompetent people. Had to do it myself.

Opened a cd back in Dec, whereby we inquired on what the best rate possible would be. We were given the various rates for the different terms and settled on a 9 month term. Today I was inquiring online on the Regions site about cd’s and discovered there is a “regular” cd and a “promotional” cd, whereby the rates on a promotional cd are higher than a regular cd. I went to the bank today to have them confirm that I was not offered a higher rate cd. Twenty minute wait for someone to come meet with me. No one seen in the offices or cubicles except one person. This was not told to us when we purchased our REGULAR cd so we were locked in at a lower rate for 9 months. We will be looking for a new bank that has customers best interest as well as has someone that will answer the phone when you call as well as someone available to speak to when at the bank. 2/6/23
