Talecris Plasma Resources, part of the Grifols Network of Plasma Donation Centers, is dedicated to donor safety and high-quality plasma. They collect protein-rich plasma to develop life-saving therapies for conditions like immune deficiencies, hemophilia, and hepatitis. Donors are paid for their time, ensuring safety and comfort. The staff is generally friendly and sociable, making it easy for even introverted donors to feel comfortable. The donation process is smooth, and the pain is minimal. However, the customer service on the phone can be hit-or-miss, with some donors reporting a poor experience. The wait times can be long, but donors often find that they make more money for their time than they would at their regular jobs. The center is often crowded, which can contribute to a claustrophobic atmosphere. The center is working to improve efficiency, including implementing a new check-in process and the Donorhub app. Overall, Talecris Plasma Resources provides a generally positive experience for donors, with a focus on safety, comfort, and the vital work of developing life-saving therapies.
Staff is awesome, the procedure went great every time I donated. Only issue I had was some of the other donors had horrible body odor. I haven't donated in almost 2 years, would I be considered a new donor again or?
