Well this place occupies one have of the building Drug Emporioum uses and has endless isles of practically any and every herb and vitamin you could imagine. The back of Viiamins Plus has health foods and there is a very good selection of frozen items. I really like thier Aromatic essential oils,as well as their all natural beauty and skin care products. And... the Bert's bees wax healing lipsticks (perfect purse size), are a must have.Take some time off and check out Vitamins Plus, it's well worth the time.

Drug emporium has unbeatable prices when it comes to supplements and organic groceries. I am here almost everyday and they carry our favorite local kale chip brand Taylormade Eats!

YO MAMA. new to the area and had my doubts about Lafayette and trying to keep a vegan lifestyle. But this place has it all! Super impressed- especially since the outside AND name is very misleading. Go in! They have all your health food needs!

I don't recall how I first discovered the paradise that is Vitamins Plus in Drug Emporium, but I do know that, over the years that I have been a loyal patron, the department has grown to encompass a good third of the store. Hooray for that! Vitamins Plus offers healthy items like tea, supplements, food & bath products at a very reasonable price. I have done price comparisons & VP has won out almost every single time. Another plus about this place is that, if they don't carry something, you can make a request & they will order it for you, then begin carrying it in perpetuity! It's also conveniently located near my apartment, which is a definite bonus. On the other hand, the staff is what you would expect of a part-time, minimum-wage staff in retail. Therefore, if you're looking for guidance, your best bet is to do your own research because customer service is a bit of a crap shoot. Additionally, plan to have cash, check or debit card handy for payment, since credit cards are not accepted at this establishment. All in all, I'm happy with Vitamins Plus. I have recommended - & will continue to recommend - these guys to people who are interested in the crunchy granola lifestyle without too much pain inflicted on the ole' wallet.

Being a vegetarian in Lafayette is hard. A couple months after moving here, I had a mini-breakdown in the regular big name grocery store becuase they didn't have the vegetarian chili mix that I have found in regular grocery stores in every other city I've lived in. I'd given up hope of finding veggie hot dogs (a taste I'd recently acquired). So the next week I decided to seek out Vitamins Plus. It does not look promising from the outside. Vitamins Plus is simply one corner of a low-budget drugstore. As you go towards it, the first thing you see is big jars of vitamins and supplements (as the name suggests). But if you get past all that, you will find a havens for veg*ns and lovers of natural and organic food. Perusing the isles reminded me of the co-op I used to shop at in my old town (but in a decidedly less hip setting). I found my vegetarian chili mix, two different brands of veggie dogs, and several other types of vegan meat and dairy products, as well as plenty of other fantastic products. I almost cried out of happiness the first time I walked up and down those aisles. If you are a distraught veg*n exiled in Lafayette Louisiana, you MUST visit Vitamins Plus.
