The Pharmacist is rude as can be. Several times I’ve had issues. Refuses to fill my scripts. I’ve overheard speaking that they will not fill my script like I’m being stereotyped or there is a personal vendetta and I don’t even know this person. Probably the worst pharmacy I’ve ever had dealings with.

Pharmacy needs to hire more workers !! Terrible wait times inside or drive thru. This location never have meds I get prescribed.. They not bother you stood in line or in your car for hour sometimes.

I appreciate that, a call to make sure that all meds are being taken, any questions about meds. Mostly, the team is patient with the customer.

If I could rate this place 0 stars I definitely would😂. Went to get a prescription and they gave me a completely wrong one without saying what the prescription was. Didn’t even leave from inside the store whenever we opened the bag and realized it was eyedrops instead of an oral antibiotic. Went back to the counter and they said they couldn’t give me a refund because we left their “eyesight” which is understandable. I then explained to them that I didn’t know what prescription I was getting due to nobody telling me, one of the workers proceeds to turn around and ask the lady that helped us if she told us what prescription she was giving us. She then proceeds to say I think and the lady then turns around and tells us that she did in fact tell us what were were getting multiple times. Which is bs. Safe to say I just wasted 30 dollars on some eyedrops I will never use. DO NOT COME HERE!

Explain why I get here around noon drop off prescriptions they say it will be a half hour. I tell the woman behind the counter I’m going to leave run a few errands will probably be a bit more than 30 minutes. She says ok, says NOTHING about closing at 1:30 until 2:00 pm. Well dang my bad, I go home eat lunch come back…. “ that will be 15 minutes ma’am, I’ll call you“ what? Why??? I say nothing I sit down, does she call me in 15 minutes? No, I go up to the counter and ask, yes it’s ready, takes her another 5 minutes to find my meds. You can’t complain though cuz you’ll be a Karen.

I really wish I could have proceeded with 0 starts. I took my bonus son to his doctor's appointment the day after Christmas and decided to fill at the Walgreens near our house rather than the one closer to his mom's house. Mom and Dad fill his medicine at Walgreens in Youngsville or Broussard without any issues. I figured since he is already in Walgreens system and have filled his medicine, I could try one by the house. WRONG!
2700 Johnson Street - I waited in the drive-thru line for 37 minutes without it moving. It was not their lunchtime as I made sure to check.
2822 Ambassador Caffery - I went inside to drop the prescription off and whoever I handed the prescription to was rude, but I was giving her the benefit of the doubt as it was the day after Christmas and who wants to work the day after Christmas, right? She checks with the pharmacist and the pharmacist says they have to order it and at this point, I am not sure if I am waiting on the tech or the pharmacist to answer me. I asked when would it be in and she said Monday or Tuesday. Fast forward to yesterday (Monday), a tech calls Mom and with an attitude says, "we don't got the medicine in, you have to come pick up this prescription". When mom tells me this when I go pick up the kids from her, I call Walgreens. I guarantee the same girl that called her was who I was now on the phone with. She gets an attitude with me telling me the same thing. I asked her if it was ordered like I was told it was going to be. She gets defensive and reiterates what she has said before so she says she is going to connect me to her pharmacist and that we can't fill there anymore. That is fine with me because I do not fill my medications at Walgreens because I boycotted them for myself years ago due to the poor choices in pharmacy staff. The pharmacist gets on the phone and tells me it is on back order. I advised her to teach our staff how to communicate that instead of what we were being told and with such attitude. The pharmacist started talking to another customer without telling me to hold so that was awkward, and then hangs up as I was still talking. Maybe she thought I said bye, but I was in the middle of thanking her for explaining that the medication was on backorder when she hung up.
The Walgreens that Mom and Dad typically go to was able to order it without any issues.
Moral of this story - the pharmacy staff at 2822 Ambassador Caffery is unprofessional, lacks customer service and they are rude. 10/10 would not recommend.

Waited approximately 30 min to get my pain med prescription to the Pharmacist and was told it would be ready by noon the next day. Went at 1:30 the next day and was told to come back after 4:30 . Went back and the same pharmacist told me she couldn't fill it unless I filled all my medications there . Told her that this was the only medicine I couldn't get through the VA but it didn't matter. This sounds like extortion to me . They're a national Pharmacy and I have a perfectly legal prescription so what's the problem . I'm 71 years old and my body hurts everywhere so why am I being punished because of others that abuse the system?

Big shoutout to Mr. Paul and Anitra, that is the icing on the cake of this pharmacy. They always call me by my name, always have a big smile on their faces, and go above and beyond to make my visit to the pharmacy a very pleasant experience.

It is the worst pharmacy here, they treated me badly, they were racist!! And not to mention, at the pharmacy they never have the medications on time and the prescriptions that are sent to them, they never find them, they have terrible service.

Everyone is so helpful and always have pleasant attitudes. The store is always clean. I love to coupon and the Manager Brandon and the CSA/ Cashier Carl are very patient, helpful and professional. The store is always clean.I never get attitude like I do when visiting the Johston st. Location. Not sure why the the reviews are so low, but I’m in there often couponing and they are so nice. My go to location.

Goodluck getting through on the phone. If you do get through they aren’t exactly eager to help so the long hold could be for nothing.
