“They have neat knick-knacks, bedroom decor (stools, rugs, mirrors, jewelry boxes, organizers, etc.), blind boxes, pet supplies, gift ideas. I rate it only 4 stars, not intending discouraging you to go, for three reasons: ¹. the name does not fit because from what I saw prices ranged $1-25. 2. the store was unorganized, perhaps due to staff/ customer ratio. 3. whereas you'd think prices were low, it's about half & half. A set of night clothes that caught my eye (a very small tank&shorts) priced separately but clearly a set, totaled at $18, plus tax looking at 20. Perhaps needless to say, I removed it in checkout. Maybe someone else thinks that's fairly priced, I think thats a bit pricey for Five Below.”
“Amazing! Like dollar general meets home Depot. Always good finds on stuff. I suggest getting it when you see it, because it might not be there when you go back. Christmas hit them hard but today a restock hit and they are getting more stuff!”
“Very nice greeting as you walk in, means they acknowledged you. The store was clean and organized. I was able to find everything I needed and one of the employees was very helpful when asked where an item could be found. Kudos ? to the manager for a nice kept store and very polite employees ?. “I recently moved to the area from living in Jeff Davis parish for over 20 years and I have visited two dollar stores in Westlake one other in moss bluff and one on 171 going towards Gillis and this is the only one I choose to go to.Employees are very nice and not breathing down your neck watching every single move u make but are there to help if u need them without hesitation.The isles never ever have cases of boxes of product to be stocked stacked dangerously between isles like all the others do.Always well stocked and not ever picked over and tossed around looking.U don't have to stand and look all over to find a cashier and wait and wait to be checked out. Some of these I've been to a person would be able to just walk out with a buggy full of product and they would've never even seen u in the store or noticed that's how bad it is because they don't pay attention to their registers. Not all stores have self checkouts like they do and if they do it only takes cards most the time or is out of order. This crew needs to continue to do great work”

“I go here for particular things. The selection of dog chews and treats is huge. This is the only place near me that has a decent selection of frozen quessadias and chimichangas. The paperwork section is large and a notebook or a planner doesn't cost an arm and a leg. It's true that some items are overpriced. But there are bargains to be found if you look for them.”

“I've shopped at this location quite a few times, and it’s always a pleasure to visit because of the friendly management and cashiers. I want to especially mention Marquetta, Kim, and Angel—they consistently go above and beyond to provide outstanding customer service, which I truly appreciate. They warmly greet everyone, maintain a positive attitude, and are always ready to help. As a regular shopper who visits multiple Dollar Generals, I can honestly say this one has the best staff! I even overheard Marquetta ringing up several customers with such positive energy, always taking a moment to thank everyone she checked out. It really makes shopping here a wonderful experience.”
“This Dollar Tree is fully stocked!!! Even though it was Christmas Eve I found everything I needed and more. Shelves were less disheveled than I expected considering the holiday max last minute present dash and even at this late hour staff was friendly and energetic. I was very impressed.”

“When I went into the store on Ryan Street I asked about cleaning supplies. Both employees helped me with what I needed. The store was so clean. Employees so nice. THEN…..I left my phone in the basket. I was frantic. To be honest with you I had no idea where my phone was. The store found it and put it up for me. All of my cards were intact. “I have a completely different opinion after reading the reviews for this store. I stop by twice a week, and it’s an easy grab-and-go operation. They offer more products than you'd expect! I think some reviewers overlook how beneficial it is to have this store in its location. With just a few employees, who are constantly restocking shelves while also running the register, it's clear how much traffic and product move through those sliding doors daily. The staff never stops working—I've seen them breaking down boxes, restocking, cleaning, managing the register, and dealing with vendors all at once. I’ve visited many Dollar Stores, but I refuse to go to any other than this one. It’s clean, efficient, and saves me time. Thank you for all that you do!”
