“I like market basket becaue of their breakfast and lunch they offer , the food is good and very reasonably priced, you can get a plate lunch at market basket and you want be disappointed, the staff is very nice and friendly, good people at market basket”

“The store is refreshing with so many different areas of interest like the kitchen cooks a different lunch daily at a reasonable price. They have the deli where the amount of sliced cheeses and variety of sliced meats are bountiful. They also have a Chinese food section for lo-mein and sushi sold. The meat department also has fresh shrimp and ? and does a great job on the cuts of meats they serve. Also available is a candy section where you buy different items by the pound and next to that is gourmet coffee section. The floral department out does themselves with such beautiful arrangements not to mention the awesome variety offered, not to mention the relaxation you feel with the scent of flowers at hand. The store can be pricey on select items. But it is worth shopping with them. The staff went beyond words at the service and smiles I received there. I am definitely going back to shop for my family. Try it you will love it and I almost forgot the bakery who offers a amazing variety of cakes, cookies and other delicious food.”
“I love the dollar store. They have everything that you need when you don’t wanna go to Walmart and bring your kids in and out whenever is very hot so thanks for having dollar stores everywhere because his better than having to bring your kids in and out of places, it’s so hot outside Louisiana.”

“Sandra socks. Not really engaging. I put my few items at the end of the register about 3 ft from the Lil girl with one roll of ground meat. She proceeded to scold me for not putting the separation bar even though there was a clear divide and she can't tell it or do her job. Pay attention. I won't be back. Don't hire old angry people. Every time she had something to say I had a rebuttal. Just shut up n stop trying to argue because you won't win. Usually not the greatest hood grocery shopping store but never that great.”

“couldn't find prices for some foods i just had to ask about most things like the drums in the back are 1.75$ i believe but you have to look for them like treasure. Looks like some back woods market within the store with little options, The pig tale Dish i had reminded me of my grandparents cooking, made me want to go to sleeeeee..... ????. Alot of bone but taste really good, price was mid/ok and portion almost doesn't matter if it tastes that good. ??????????????????????.”
“I went here to do some shopping I've been putting off and I gotta tell you... 11/17/23 at 5:20pm the staff there tonight were TOP. NOTCH... I mean wow. I couldn't find some dog chews that were on sale and two beautiful ladies helped me find them. Then the cashier? GOSH she was so sweet! Y'all really got it together and the 3 ladies working tonight really deserve a raise because they were just unbelievably amazing and patient and kind as all get out. Those 3 made my shopping experience awesome. And the guy who's always there is always so kind. Seriously amazing staff recently. I hope they get this recognition cause they deserve it <3 Keep killin' it y'all”

“I recently moved to the area from living in Jeff Davis parish for over 20 years and I have visited two dollar stores in Westlake one other in moss bluff and one on 171 going towards Gillis and this is the only one I choose to go to.Employees are very nice and not breathing down your neck watching every single move u make but are there to help if u need them without hesitation.The isles never ever have cases of boxes of product to be stocked stacked dangerously between isles like all the others do.Always well stocked and not ever picked over and tossed around looking.U don't have to stand and look all over to find a cashier and wait and wait to be checked out. Some of these I've been to a person would be able to just walk out with a buggy full of product and they would've never even seen u in the store or noticed that's how bad it is because they don't pay attention to their registers. Not all stores have self checkouts like they do and if they do it only takes cards most the time or is out of order. This crew needs to continue to do great work”

They have everything you need for Asian cooking from produce, meat, spices, sauces, and cookware.They also have a wide variety of teas, snacks, and treats.I always find something new and interesting to try with each visit!For those criticizing the prices, you’ve got to remember, these are imported goods, and “imported” automatically means pricier.”

“I just finished eating 1 bowl of your shrimp etouffee, and I wish I had more!! I discovered your meals months ago when they went on sale at Super One. I’ve tried most of your dinners, but the shrimp etouffee is my favorite. I love the creaminess of the rice, plus I’m not finding shells in every bite. Even though prices have gone up on everything, I appreciate that you have kept your prices steady while not compromising quality. Thank you!”
“They are always so nice and generous working all day every day and I'm so happy to actually find a dollar general that actually have nice workers and a clean store.”

“Great spacious layout customer service lacking. Later in the evenings, they say they carry some insurance cards. I told me he was accepted. Am I over-the-counter and groceries? They only covered certain things that Walmart's covered everything. And I'll have to check my in voice again. But my bill was about $300 and I think I was overcharged, 40 or 50 bucks roughly on beef.
But overall Queen store, if they had a piano, he'd make a great jazz club.
