“We had a sudden death in our family, I was banking on these shoes coming the day before the funeral. I called USPS corporate and they were less than helpful. I showed up to the lake street drew station and explained to them I needed to pickup this package that was showing it was at lake street location. They took down my name and number because she said they had 500 small packages to sort through. I was ok with that, I explained to her the importance of these because no where local had black shoes. The blonde (sorry didn’t get her name) gave my info to another worker and he reached out that evening to tell me he found the package. A true blessing in such a hard time. They go the extra mile here.”
