Brought my daughter here to be seen for possible flu. Was told that I needed to pay the remainder of her deductible to be seen which was 750, like are you kidding me. She states because they are privately owned. That’s a joke. Also the girl at the front not very friendly at all which made the experience much worse. Needless to say, I walked out and came to a different urgent care and was treated very well. will never step foot back in there again..

Terrible care. Called in advance due to covid symptoms and positive home test. Talked to the practioner who advised me to call from parking lot. Didn't do full vitals despite elevated HR. Did not prescribe any covid specific treatment, but instead gave me antibiotics for a known viral infection. Waste of time. They should have advised that they don't prescribed any of the approved treatments for covid in advance. Instead they provided sub standard "care"

I went in to get a COVID rapid test. I provided the receptionist with my insurance and they looked up the information. She tells me that the insurance won't cover the cost for taking the rapid test to return to work. She tells me it's ~$160. I told her that it's not return to work, I need it to prove to work that I tested positive for COVID and I would be required to stay home for 5 days. I did a rapid test at home and it came up positive. After filling out the forms she tells me that insurance doesn't cover it and that the cost was now ~$261. I left. The price jumped $100 for some reason. Go to another urgent care, this one is sketchy at best.

Wife was advised to take a COVID test and so we called and were told the wait was an hour currently. Upon arrival the staff would not let my wife sign in and told her they weren't accepting any more patients at this time. My wife became upset and began crying while asking why they would tell her it's an hour wait over the phone when they aren't accepting new patients once you actually show up. 2 of the 3 staff members came out and began yelling at my wife. Once home, I called the facility and asked for the names of the providers working so I could file a complaint and the receptionist refused to provide that information, stating that it was private and then when I asked for her name, she refused as well. Looking for info on how to report the entire staff to the Lousiana Department of Health, Health Standards section. Understand that there is a massive COVID wave going and that medical practitioners are stressed, but that doesnt give them the right to verbally abuse patients. The fact that they will not provide the names of the staff for reporting purposes only emphasizes that they know they are wrong and are trying to shield themselves. READ THE NEGATIVE REVIEWS AND NOTICE HOW THE POST THE SAME GRAMMATICALLY INCORRECT STATEMENT TO EACH NEGATIVE REVIEW. THIS PLACE DOES NOT CARE ABOUT ITS PATIENTS, JUST MONEY.

It's been 7 hours and STILL waiting! It's FREEZING and there are no blankets for patients. The receptionist is rude and needs to learn how to speak to patients and maybe learn some empathy for people.

Worst service ever. I was third in line and they started turning people away after me then the lady at the counter called me up after 45 min to tell me she couldn't verify my insurance on her computer and I would have to pay 500+ . I have blue cross and they are listed as in network. I'm so upset and will never go back there

There are no actual doctors on staff at any of these locations. I suffer from chronic bronchitis and the APRN, Kimberly Coney, couldn’t write me a prescription for cough medicine with codeine. She said her license prohibited it. She also didn’t recommend getting a steroid shot nor a prescription for steroids, which reduces the inflammation but recommended I take antibiotics as a preventative measure! What!? I don’t have an infection and this goes against all of the medical recommendations for antibiotic use. I’m in the medical profession and was disappointed, as well as disturbed by this PRN’s knowledge. I will, in the future, trust my care only to a doctor. I would not recommend using Doctors After Hours.

The website says patients can get x-rays there. That was not the case. I saw the PA at this location and he was wonderful. No complaints about him or the ladies who were there. They were all very nice. I needed an x-ray so I was sent to the Clearview location. The machine there was broken or would not come on or something. The young lady was very sweet and I'm not upset with anyone except that the site says x-rays available and it was not available there and broken at the other site and none of their other locations have x-ray machines. My choice was ochsner urgent care or wait to try to see my doctor tomorrow. Huge waste of time but at least all of the employees were very very nice.

I came from another urgent care where I had been waiting for more than 2 hours. I walked into Doctors After Hours and was seen within 10 minutes and left probably a half hour later with my prescription. I went to fill my prescription from Doctors after hours and the original urgent care had called me to tell me they were finally ready for me. Doctors after Hours was very quick and everyone was so nice. I felt comfortable and knew that I was in good hands. I will definitely be back if I have any other issues. 10/10 recommend!!
