“We had a lovely stay as a family. The rooms and bathrooms are big, the beds and pillows are very comfortable. All appliances work well, even though some are a bit old; for example, the air conditioning was a bit loud and the toilets a bit slow, but they get the work done. Very nice and convenient breakfast; even though it is the same menu every day, we enjoyed it as it was tasty and fresh. All the staff was very polite and all rooms and common areas perfectly clean. In terms of location, it’s a short drive from the French Quarter and other popular attractions, so very convenient. There are also some dining options around the hotel; we had a lovely dinner at Boulevard American Bistro which is very close. Overall, we had a great time and would definitely recommend the hotel.

“My daughter and I were in town for the Eras Tour and stayed here Thursday & Friday night! The staff was so incredibly friendly and so helpful! My daughter gave bracelets to two of the staff members at the front desk who made sure to check in and see how we were doing every time we returned to the hotel. They shared our excitement for the weekend and really made us feel welcome. While you can't walk to any of the main tourist areas from the hotel everything is a quick and easy uber/lyft ride away! We felt safe which was a concern of mine traveling to a new city for the first time. The rooms were clean and had a lot of space!”

“Great location. Beautiful inside and outside. Lots of duplicate art tho. Staff a bit slow and not in a rush to help but super kind and made great eating suggestions. The room had an awesome welcome packet with all tourists information which we used . Pool closes way too early so we never got to swim but it looked nice.”

“The rooms are large with a comfortable bed. We mistakenly booked a smoking room but with the kind service of Deep at the reception we were moved to a non-smoking room.

Rooms: Large rooms but need renovation”

“I am honestly amazed. This is quite possibly the best budget hotel I’ve ever stayed in.

Super functional. Large mini fridge, large bed, large TV (I don’t watch tv), large table, nice shower, bathroom, mirror, lighting. Quiet. There’s not much more you can ask for from a budget hotel.

It is clear that the owners are committed to comfort and quality. Again, I am quite surprised, as most budget stays are not this gracious.

Highly recommended. Probably the only place I’d stay while in New Orleans.”
