“My husband and I stayed her for 3 nights right after Fat Tuesday. This Inn is in such a great location - located right across from the river. Walk anywhere in the French Quarter right from the front door! Decateur St. seemed to settle down by around 10pm so we did not get any of the noise from the French Quarter really. Short walk to Cesears, Canal St., Bourbon St., Cafe Dumond etc. The building itself is a historical building with a really lovely, quiet courtyard where you can relax after a long day of walking. The shower was hot and water pressure amazing, clean rooms, and comfortable beds. All of the staff were very polite and welcoming. We will stay here EVERY time we come to New Orleans from now on!”

“Good choice of hotel for New Orleans, although rooms were not as clean as I would expect for this class of hotels and outdated furniture. Wish there was a way to disable the bell easily. Friendly security guards and doorman staff have made this a 5/5 experience”

“The epitome of style and old world grace from the beautiful exterior to the warm experience of being greeted by the Doorkeeper, the Front Desk Agent, and the Bell Captain. Every detail thoughtfully executed to ensure the optimum guest experience. The rooms speak to another time, the roof top pool a welcome oasis in the middle of New Orleans, and the Carousel Bar & Lounge gives one a moment to pause and soak in what the area must have been like long ago. Dark wood, rich warm low lighting, background music, and attentive bartenders make for an experience second to none. A specific call out to both Nolin (seek him out - his knowledge of the area and how to traverse it is invaluable) and Jasmine for their thoughtfulness and welcoming personality which made our trip one that will be remembered for a long time!”
“The Old Jail is the perfect get away in the heart of New Orleans for a single room or multiple rooms if you’ve got a group trip to Louisiana. The vibe is immaculate and the owner/operator Todd is the ultimate party host with enough recommendations and Bourbon Street wisdom to keep your itinerary lively and epic. Skip the French Quarter chaos and stay at this epic spot!”

“Great place. Staff is friendly and attentive. You can feel the history in a place like this. Very close to bourbon street and most other places you need to go in the French corridor.”
“Perfect location in the French Quarters. Walk just 2 minutes to the heart if it all! The double room was spacious and has a small refrigerator in the tv console. The room and the property are very clean. The staff is amazing! Everyone is so helpful and accommodating. Shout out to Sebastian, who was wonderful and helpful! My friends and I agree, we will return here from now on when visiting NOLA!”

“This hotel is absolutely amazing. They are very attentive to your every need here. The rooms are very spacious and clean. The service is above and beyond. They are very friendly and helpful with anything you may need. It is a block from Bourbon Street, so it is close enough to the action but quiet enough to rest easy at night with no loud noises. This is definitely the place to stay when visiting New Orleans.”

“My husband and I stayed here for 4 night and we could not be more pleased with how wonderful it is. It is the perfect location and feels like a quiet little bubble tucked right outside the crazy Bourbon St. it’s very quiet and the hot tub is so relaxing. The rooms have everything you could ever need already in them, which is extremely thoughtful. The beds and pillows are so comfy. It was very clean, too. We will continue to book with them for all of our NOLA trips in the future. Thank you so much G.H. for making our trip so great!”

“Had the pleasure of spending days at Dew Drop Inn and I can’t wait to go back! After hearing people discourage because of location and neighborhood, I’m glad I experienced it for myself. The place is chic, has rich history, the hospitality is wonderful and I love that it’s a hotel + music venue all in one. I felt totally safe there during my visit!”

“I stayed in Room #401 (shown in these pictures) and enjoyed the entire time there! Highlights of the suite included two separate balconies (one shared with Room #400 and fire escape stairs; one completely private with patio furniture), views of both beautiful sunrises over the Mississippi River and amazing sunsets behind the downtown skyline, a walk-in closet with an overhead light and full-length mirror inside, large refrigerator/freezer (especially for a hotel room), bright lighting over the bathroom mirror, plenty of soft pillows and warm blankets, and a wonderfully efficient A/C unit paired with room darkening curtains. I shall definitely be back here in the future!”

“The building is beautiful. Started with cocktails - very well made. I read reviews and ordered the popular dishes of the hot goat cheese and the ice cream sandwich. Both were wonderful!!! The rest of the menu is a bit limited. What we had was tasty but not a wow kind of tasty. If was solid, a bit on the expensive side which is why I put the value at 4. Our server was very attentive in filling up our water glasses and clearing dishes. Maybe a little too much. I know it sounds picky but you get a bit of the rushed feeling. But we were not rushed out - not at all - had all the time we needed and more. I am very glad that I went. I plan to come back to check out the happy hour.”

“Everything was so nice, different but nice. Bathrooms were super spacious! Inconvenient microwave is at bottom but everything else was nice. It was a different atmosphere from a regular motel/hotel.”
“We've been here for 2 days so far. Staff is friendly and the room is well stocked and clean.
So far we only have a few complaints but ones we feel like should be stated. We specifically called before booking to ask about parking and was told there is a lot AND valet. We arrived and sure enough only valet for about $53 and some change PER NIGHT.
Not surprising as a lot of places are using this model, which means we will not be leaving it another night and will be parking in a nearby neighborhood to avoid spending an extra $200 on parking for a $400 room.
On top of it being $54/night, it has taken more than 10 minutes both times to get my car. We understand that valet takes time to come around but at $54 each day, I’d expect a little more urgency or a better system, unless the parking area they are using is not nearby at all.
We are also having issue at night with the AC unit grinding loudly every hour on the hour. Even when we cut it off.
Im only mentioning these because i think management would like to know. We are absolutely enjoying our stay, but these have been our areas that would make us consider another place next time.”
“This hotel is an excellent location and has a fun history BUT if you are spoiled to certain amenities when traveling keep in mind: There are no on demand movies, there is no way to steam platforms like youtube or prime (tv not set up cable only), balcony doors don't lock well (someone tried to open ours in the middle of the night), there is NO ROOM SERVICE and you cannot order from the affiliated restaurants (just off registration desk) by phone you must go down to order and wait for a to go order. I prefer to be spoiled on vacation and having to leave my room for EVERY SINGLE MEAL got old. Even just breakfast room service would be nice. Valet was easy efficient and friendly.”
“The hotel is nice and all the staff were excellent. The rooms are comfy and clean and very quiet with no neighbor noise coming through the walls. I recommend staying here, you will not regret it.”
“This is one of my all time favorite stays. I stayed here in September 2024/ October 2024 and then again this year (2026) in Febuary and again in March/May for Jazzfest. Staying here has been a place Tom and Patricia are so adorable, extremely accomodating and kind to any need or request I have. I'm typically on the younger side of guests who stay so everytime I come stay I feel like I'm back home from college in all the very best ways. Tom is a rockstar with making sure we get those breakfast orders in exactly how we want them because he is awesome at paying attention to details in a way that feels so warm and personable. If I have guests come visit, Tom and Patricia make everyone feel welcome and at home. It's the kind of place that makes me want to make sure I'm the best guest ever in an attempt to match their superior level of customer service. I've stayed at other hotels but this place provides a tried and true New Orleans southern charm experience. Tom always helps me carry my embarassingly heavy suitcases with a smile on his face and offers multiple times because he knows I won't say yes the first time. Patricia is such a doll and delight in the mornings like a little bee going from flower to flower as she buzzes from table to table checking in with us and making really sweet conversation. She's awesome at offering suggestions to check out in the city based on someones profile as shown by her impeccable ability to observe people's preferences by asking all the right questions and listening so intently to people in an effortlessly charming way. Also Tom sends out nearby music events every day which is incredibly special! I've stayed at several hotels in New Orleans but this is by far my favorite. I've stayed in several rooms as well and they each have their unique advantages. I have loved all of them. I've stayed in Desiree(bring earplugs), Dolly(my favorite), Pearl, Clair, Irene suite is cool too. Highly recommend staying here! Thanks Tom and Patricia <3”
“The room was spacious with everything that we needed. The staff were so friendly and helpful. Laundry is on 1st floor near pool, morning coffee on 2nd floor. We didn't use our vehicle at all during our stay. We used the public transportation system, "le pass," and there is an app to help you get to each trolley or bus. The location was for everything our family wanted to do, but we just didn't have enough time to see it all, so we will be back, and we will stay at Club Wyndham again!
Nearby activities: We visited the French Market for some shopping. We explored the graveyards and found a couple famous names among the tombs. We went to the Mardi Gras experience and got to tour the warehouse and see how they build the floats for the parades. We went on the Evening dinner cruise up the River an the famous Natchez steam boat. The food was amazing and the sites were beautiful.”
“Great location in NOLA's uptown area, quiet, excellent value for the money. Staff are very welcoming, Marlene & Albert were helpful, warm and nice company!”

“Every time I eat here I love it more and more! The food is amazing and the atmosphere is so charming. I especially love “young Mike “ as our server! It's like he is a professional in all things hospitality. He cares for everyone individually and his stories are very entertaining. I cannot wait to go back!”
“We were in one of the suites and the living area was very spacious and great to have. The rate and location were great, and staff were all friendly and helpful, particularly storing our luggage for a half day after check-out and helping arrange the best ride option to the airport.
Some reviews mentioned noise from inside the hotel being an issue, but we didn't experience that at all. The mini-fridge was very useful as we often had leftovers from large meals.”

“We had a fantastic stay at the Quarter House! The rooms were exceptionally clean, spacious, and the location couldn’t have been better—just a short walk to Bourbon Street and everything the French Quarter has to offer.
We booked connecting accommodations, with a one-bedroom apartment for our son and another for us, which worked out perfectly. One of the biggest surprises was having an in-room washer and dryer. Before our trip, we called the hotel and were told there were complimentary shared laundry facilities, so finding a private laundry unit in our room was an unexpected bonus. If you need it, laundry detergent is available at the front desk for just $2.
The hotel staff was friendly, welcoming, and very accommodating throughout our stay. Between the spacious rooms, excellent location, and outstanding service, we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. We will definitely be back!”

“Wonderful place, loved that the bathrooms were updated but everything else about the house felt like a real home. There were lots of nice folks around and a very sweet cat. Anytime I'm in town this is the place I want to stay.”
“This place is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. The customer service is in a league of its own. Everyone is super friendly, kind, smiling, and willing to help with any questions. It gives me “southern hospitality” vibes then times that by 1 million :). The rooms are each unique, they have a peacock theme (love it!) throughout the hotel. The place is extremely clean, updated, and maintained. Did I mention you get two free bar drinks for staying with them? It’s in the perfect location for
Shopping, dining, and right infront of highly rated zoo/park. The train car runs right infront of the hotel and cost 1.25 and will take you all the way to the French Quarter. I love this place because of the peace and quiet it offers. It’s safe and did I mention.. it’s SAFE! So if your ever in the New Orleans area and need a place to stay.. I highly recommend Park View Hotel!”

“There is no better way to experience New Orleans than sitting on the porch at Columns with a cocktail in hand, watching the streetcars roll down St. Charles Ave. The restoration of this historic mansion is absolutely stunning—it feels grand and sophisticated while still being incredibly welcoming. The high ceilings, the woodwork, and the overall 'vibe' are unmatched. A true 5-star NOLA landmark!”
“The location is perfect for day tripping to local restaurants and tourist attractions. I found the staff helpful - we had a bit of a problem getting into one room, but the staff more than made up for it, which I do appreciate. The pool area is great, with good service, and makes for good fun watching boats on the river. The hotel feels classic 5 star FS, yet still has a unique New Orleans vibe, as well.”
“I had a great experience staying here last week. The hotel was well maintained, my room was huge, the pool was peaceful, and Michelle at the front desk was lovely. I would definitely stay here again!”
“Great location and the staff is friendly and very welcoming. The hotel has its unique charm and we loved it. Rooms are small and can hear other guests in adjacent rooms. That’s the only issue.. Otherwise, the location cannot be more perfect”
“Olivier House is my new favorite place to stay when visiting New Orleans. If you like staying in an 1800s hotel with several courtyards and history this is where you should stay. They upgraded me to a balcony room so that was a plus and the hotel kitties was a nice too. Already planning my next stay.”
