“I LOVED MY STAY!!!!!!! when I visit again I will definitely be staying here. Everything was super clean, the staff is all super nice and helpful. There are three cats that stay in the hotel and hang out with guests/employees which made my soul super happy as an animal lover away from their pet… Plus the aesthetic of the hotel is to die for. The building has so much history! There are so many places to cozy up and read a book or have your morning tea (which they also provide free of charge along with many other refreshment options!)Nearby activities: Lots of shopping, food and drinks nearby. You will run out of time before running out of things to do/experience!Walkability: Super walkable!!! Did not need to uber for most of my trip (which was good because Ubers were always surging higher rates and super expensive)”

“STUNNING luxury hotel! Harpist playing in the lobby on a Friday morning. The ladies room in the lobby has a complete restroom inside the individual stall; toilet with seat covers, a SINK with an individual liquid soap dispenser, and an abundance of cloth hand towels! How lovely!!! This is across from Canal street, away from the French Quarter, and the majority of tourists. A very quiet area.”

“We stayed for a week during mardi gras week all the way from the UK. I have to say the service and demeanour of the front desk was delightful. They were knowledgeable and helpful which is what you need arriving in a new city. The rooms had a good feel about them and the location was pretty perfect also. 5 Stars! Keep up the great work and we will be back.”

“Lunch here was outstanding. My group had many things off the small but interesting menu - smash burgers, chicken katsu sandwich, salads, lettuce cups, bork belly.Service was great.Food itself was amazing. You could tell that a great amount of care and attention to detail was put into every single dish - fresh ingredients and how it was cooked, prepared, and served - even the French Fries.Highly recommended.”

“The Hotel St. Marie was the perfect hotel for my husband and I when we visited New Orleans last week. It was so close to Bourbon Street that we could walk in just a minute when we wanted to, but still feel completely separate when on our balcony overlooking the hotel’s peaceful courtyard. The rooms were nice, clean, and the air conditioning and water pressure/temperature worked great, and the amenities on site were extremely convenient. But most importantly, the staff were so kind, considerate, and helpful. Highly recommend and will definitely be back!”

“Great location for the hotel and updated amenities make it a great option when staying in NOLA. I used the JW during the most recent Mardi Gras. The location right next to the parade route made it a breeze to walk out into the festivities. Great customer service during the check in process and a well-stocked concierge lounge.Walkability: Great proximity to other hotels, good nearby food options.”

“A lovely quiet little place the museum was nice and free the gift shop was excellent and it was convenient to a lot of locations and right Off-highway.Rooms: The room was very spacious the bathroom was luxurious with plenty of tiles and shower was excellentSafety: I loved the safety and security and you had to get special locks used elevator side doors and even enter and at night they had a 24 hour security guard It's so very safe..Walkability: Just short walks from restaurants bars and attraction and not far from burban street easy quick walk”

“We stayed just 1 day and were pleasantly surprised to have been upgraded (I've never been upgraded before). I prefer to stay in boutique hotels over national brands, and this hotel is no exception. The staff is very friendly and eager to help with anything. While there is no breakfast, there is coffee available in the lobby. Everything is within walking distance. I parked my car (the cost is $45 around the corner) and forgot about it until we checked out. Will gladly stay here again.”

“Great location, close to Mother's and the French Quarter. Check-in was a bit of a fiasco trying to unload the luggage as the drive thru was blocked off so had to fight with a sloping sidewalk and a lot of rain. Apparently a lot of people were signing in at once, hence the lack of bellboy support. Went thru 3 people (friendly but a little overwhelmed) at the front desk before I received room cards. They take a $250 deposit which should be given back in 4-6 business days. Received a pressure sell to attend an update meeting even though we were only there 2 nights, which I respectfully declined. The room itself was nice and we appreciated the complimentary laundry area to wash some clothes. All in all I wouldn't rule this place out as our previous stay went much smoother.”

“Stayed one night. Nice hotel and great location. We had a 2nd floor balcony and we loved that we could hear the street action and live music from our room. Room was spacious and comfy. They do need to tend to the balcony floor - the wood decking has seen better days, but I would still stay in the exact room again.”

“The hotel is well situated and the rooms are very charming. The breakfast was a good simple continental breakfast. Generally, I would recommend this hotel. But I would keep in mind a few things.First, yes parking is included. However, when it is full, you have to park a block away in the hospital parking where there is no gate like at the hotel. We also had issues with the toilet, even after a staff member came to fix it. The staff at the front desk could definitely be friendlier (the cleaning staff was lovely). A nice, personable staff would have made a huge difference in the experience.”

“Maison Perrier is hands down the most authentic, charming, and inviting place to stay in New Orleans! We hope to only stay there on all future visits. The location is perfect- walking distance to all our needs and safe/quiet streets for parking. The room was spacious and beautiful! Breakfast was delicious! See you soon Tom & Patricia!”

“This is definitely a hotel I can say made my travels so much better the location is within walking distance to many new Orleans destination s staff was super helpful with all my questions and you need to try this completely breakfast because it is not your typical scrambled eggs and waffles so many fresh daily options that rotate then they also have the same style with dinner I can't say anything negative about this hotel except my only let down was the pool and hot tub were down and was told it would be fixed and the 3 days I was there unfortunately it did not work any of those days but how everything else went with the hotel I can say that one issue with so many positives. Will be back when I'm in town for business.Rooms: Many great options with many great views”

“Waiter was smug and laughed at my older friend when he inquired if another type of fish not shown on menu but listed on website. It was quite rude and offensive to my guests. And he cleared plates before everyone was finished . Perhaps he needs a refresher in how to be more hospitable. Aside from the service, everything else about the experience was satisfactory.”

“Cute place. Shares courtyard with another house that has guests. Hot tub doest heat up but can be soothing after a hot day of running around. Would be nice if it worked. Located in a great spot. There is also an amazing breakfast spot on the corner. Dat dog is a short walk down the way. Neighborhood is relatively quiet. Place was clean. Will try and return evey time i come to New Orleans.”

“Nice staff ,cleaned room when we were gone ,didn't wake us up we slept late every day.Quaint ,cozy ,highly recommend if you are looking for the full French quarter experience, would come back.My wife and I loved the atmosphere at Hotel Villa Conveto.Our flight was much later than check out ,they let us store our bags and arranged a cab for us even though we had checked out already. “If the French Quarters is where you're hoping to stay, this is a great spot. You're steps away from Bourbon St, and very close to anywhere in French Quarters, and a short distance walk to the boardwalk and the central business district. The staff were all super friendly, Tracy (I believe her name was) at the front desk was super helpful and nice. The rooms were comfortable and the valet staff were great too. Definitely would recommend this hotel if you're hoping to stay in the French Quarters!”

“We spent three wonderful nights here in room 453, The Editor's Suite. The room is quite spacious. The pictures and description on the website are pretty much spot on. Just some quick points. The bed was super comfortable and the room was clean for the msot part. The TV in the sitting area will not stay turned off. It just keeps coming back on. The shower door handle was broken and put back in place. Both shower heads do not work at the same time. However, the wet room is pretty cool. DO NOT step out of there, with wet feet, onto the tile floor. It is SLIPPERY. Put a towel down. Like, really. There is plenty of hot water and the tub is big enough for two. ? The view is onto the street in front of the hotel. The toilet paper is soooo thin. Seemed a bit petty to skimp on that. We were there three days and never asked for housekeeping, but getting them to part with a couple extra towels was funny. Looked at us like we were going to keep them. She gave them up though, reluctantly.The location really is perfect. Just on the edge of the French Quarter, it was quiet and tucked away, but a very short walk to the grit that is New Orleans. Some nice seating out front and easy access for Uber service. There is a nice steakhouse right across the street, where there is also some ongoing construction. Lobby, bar, and courtyard are swanky with nooks and crannies to hang out in and take selfies. ? Very Instagrammable hotel. Some live music in the "lobby" was nice and the concierge was friendly and willing to help. They offer bikes to get around the city that were included in our room rate. They held our luggage as we were early and again when we wanted to go out for brunch after we checked out. Ice machine was out order on the fourth floor. There is a mini fridge, and safe but no microwave.They were very accomidating.”

“It was my first hostel experience in The US. I stayed 3 nights. Rooms and common areas were very clean. Location of the hostel is good enough. You can reach many touristic area by street car, easily. To met and spent time with volunteer friends from different countries and cultures was very nice. All of them were super friendly. “I totally enjoyed my pet friendly stay! This is a GREAT location and convenient to everything. However....Let me start this novel off by saying the hotel tried to help by offering a food voucher and comping the very little room service that I had. I am only holding back a perfect score because of a fire alarm incident in the connecting shopping center that also activated the alarm on a few floors in the hotel. I was in my room on the 29th floor when the alarm sounded, and I went down all 29 flights, thinking there was a fire. There was no fire, thankfully, but my legs were jello the remainder of my trip. For the next 4 hours, the alarm continued to sound sporadically, although there was no fire. No sleep for hours and hanging out in the lobby with an anxious pooch was no fun. But again... great hotel, bad incident.Nearby activities: You are in downtown New Orleans in walking distance to favorites such as Harrah's Casino, Cafe du Monde (beignets), the French Market, Bourbon Street, and all of the French Quarters.Walkability: Walkability to the New Orleans favorite hot spots.”

“Stayed here for 4 nights and had a great experience. The staff was very friendly and very helpful, especially Alexis at the front desk! We got to check in early, and we had a basic room with a window facing a run-down courtyard. The room was clean, but the hallways don't form a complete loop (or square), but more of a spiral to the elevator. We were at the very end (room 461), so we had to walk down 4 long hallways every time to access the elevator. It's not the end of the world, but it just added extra steps every time we left our room. The room was nice, basic, and clean. The shower was a rain style shower with a separate detachable handle.We had a flat screen TV, drink cooler that didn't cool our drinks at all, coffee maker, ice bucket, and alarm clock with USB access/charging. No easily accessible plugs near the bed or nightstand. Some hotels have plugs built into the nightstand lamps or accessible behind the nightstand, but our room had 1 plug behind the bed and 1 inconveniently located under the desk next to the bed but not very close to the bed. We like to charge electronics on our nightstand, but and to compromise here unless you bring an extension cord. The bathroom is spacious, and they have the wall mounted bottle pumps of shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel. Pressure was decent, and hot water was abundant and got hot as expected. The bathroom fan is on a motion timer, so it will go on automativally every time you enter the bathroom.The bed was comfy, and sheets were soft. We asked for extra pillows and coffee, and they had them delivered within minutes.The lobby is gorgeous, and the extra security feature of needing your room key to access the elevator from the 1st floor is a nice touch. I didn't visit the pool or exercise room, so I can not review those. Easy access in front for valet parking, taxis, Ubers, and Lyfts. The lobby has direct access to the restaurant on one side and the jazz bar on the other. We never tried the restaurant, but we did visit the hotel's bar (Bourbon O) and caught a drink while listening to live music. A bonus is that you can sit in the beautiful and comfy lobby and gear the live music also. The hotel has a few scrapes and bruises from time, but the location is top-notch, only minutes by foot from Jackson Square in one direction and Bourbon Street in the other. The staff was super friendly and attentive, and overall, the hotel was clean and worth the price. I would definitely stay here again!”

“I booked room last minute on St Patrick's weekend and my stay was great . Room was clean and comfortable and cozy . Common areas very clean . Staff was attentive and on point . I ate in the restaurant at the hotel food was great and so was service . I will definitely stay here again when I come back to town .”

“Serenity in the Marigny is truly "serenity" at its finest in New Orleans! Each room was beautifully designed, clean, modern, and spacious - the en suite bathrooms were stunning!We booked this bed and breakfast (locally owned and managed!) for a group of 8 women. The provided breakfasts were yummy, the spa was a treat, and the hot tub and sauna on the roof were a relaxing way to end a long weekend. The staff were all amazing, kind, and helpful. I cannot recommend this place enough, whether you're just booking 1 room or all 5. Thank you, Serenity in the Marigny!”
