2410 Duval Drive, MonroeI’ve spent 6 months doing my research on the daycares in the area before we moved here 4 months ago. I finally took the leap and brought her in today for her first day of daycare and I couldn’t be happier with the choice I made! It was hard to find a daycare that lives up to her prior one in another state, but the girls at SSP really made me feel so much better about leaving her. I have a very active cattle dog mix who LOVES other dogs and went to daycare nearly everyday back in Tennessee. She can be timid with new people but she went back with the sweet girl this morning no problem. And when I picked her up a few hours later she wasn’t dragging me to the door to leave. She felt comfortable there from what I could tell! I went ahead and booked her boarding stay for July! And can’t wait to schedule her some more daycare days in the future! Maybe even some short stays before hand to make sure she’s feeling extra comfortable for her extended stay! She is currently snoring next to me. Thank you SSP for Tori’s fabulous first day! She can’t wait to come back to see you guys! I also love that they give frequent breaks because no dog wants to play ALL day. It’s not good for them and they will burn out quickly. Frequent break are a must to keep play groups positive and fun and keep the dogs happy and healthy!

Not only does he truly care for the animals he treats, but he showed our family incredible compassion and empathy on one of the hardest days of our lives. He had to deliver earth-shattering news and, that same day, help us say goodbye to our boy.
By the grace of God working through Dr. Webber, we were able to find some peace in knowing our boy was no longer suffering. During an absolutely devastating moment, we never felt alone. Doc and his entire staff surrounded our family with kindness, patience, compassion, and support.

Until I found Dr Whitlock at Monroe Animal health the pups suffered from the skin issues. Dr Whitlock put both of our pets on medication and their hair grew back and we are not stressing over hot spots anymore!! I highly recommend Monroe Animal Health Center, Dr Whitlock and all of the Drs working at this facility!! if you truly love your pets give them the Best Dr and Best Medical Facility Monroe Animal Health Center!! 506 North 2nd Street, MonroeDifferent vibe and beer selection than the brewery across the river. Not worse, not better, just different. My advice after visiting 100+++ small and large craft breweries, is go to both! The double IPA was delicious. And the pizza was incredible.

Khan's Mongolian Grill
608 Sterlington Road, MonroeThis is good Mongolian food. They have good selection of ingredients and sauces and if you don’t like what you get it’s your own fault! You get a lot of food, a large bowl, but it is a little pricey compared to some other Mongolian restaurants I’ve ate at. My only complaint is that you can only choose one egg without being charged for more.
Overall it was good and I would go back.

They were seasoned well but the shells were a bit difficult to remove.
The Sprite was also good.
However, the cup still contains so much ice that you don't get much drink.

This means I was able to study here comfortably.on top of that, the espresso here is very delicious. I also tried the veggie patty burger here. They make it so well where it tastes savory and satiating. I absolutely plan on returning here regularly.

It was hot so we didn't sit outside but the bayou from the parking lot was beautiful. Our server was attentive and friendly.

This place taste as good as it did 20yrs ago. That is what good restaurants are about. Given back to the community and cooking the food the way we remember it.

5302 Desiard Street, MonroeFirst just let me say that River City Humane Society for Cats is an exceptional place. It’s a no kill shelter MOST IMPORTANTLY ! It has a long history in this town for doing great works for the most caring pets that has grace mankind for millennia. the staff is obviously caring. They know what they’re doing. They’re extremely friendly and helpful. I cannot say enough good things about this Humane Society. Because it is truly humane. I’ve been a cat owner of my entire life. I’m about to turn 54. In 2019 we adopted “Hawthorne“. He’s a black and white short haired domestic, and he is the absolute heart of our family. He has made our life exceptionally better.
