“The store does have a lot of stock. My only complaint is that the store manager/or lead for the day I went 8/17/25 around 9:45-10. A short lighter skin gentleman was VERY rude to the staff.. He was talking to one of the ladies in a nasty tone, even after she apologized. Immediately after he waked to the front and told the cashier whom name tagged stated “Kay” that he wanted to get rid of the other lady and he didn’t like her. He needs a proper training on management!”

“I recently moved to the area from living in Jeff Davis parish for over 20 years and I have visited two dollar stores in Westlake one other in moss bluff and one on 171 going towards Gillis and this is the only one I choose to go to.Employees are very nice and not breathing down your neck watching every single move u make but are there to help if u need them without hesitation.The isles never ever have cases of boxes of product to be stocked stacked dangerously between isles like all the others do.Always well stocked and not ever picked over and tossed around looking.U don't have to stand and look all over to find a cashier and wait and wait to be checked out. Some of these I've been to a person would be able to just walk out with a buggy full of product and they would've never even seen u in the store or noticed that's how bad it is because they don't pay attention to their registers. Not all stores have self checkouts like they do and if they do it only takes cards most the time or is out of order. This crew needs to continue to do great work”

“Very convenient location for the Oak Park Neighborhood. The staff have been friendly every time I go in for basic supplies. Clean and normally well stocked with your basic necessities and often have unique holiday items as well.”

I want to especially mention Marquetta, Kim, and Angel—they consistently go above and beyond to provide outstanding customer service, which I truly appreciate. They warmly greet everyone, maintain a positive attitude, and are always ready to help. As a regular shopper who visits multiple Dollar Generals, I can honestly say this one has the best staff! “This Dollar Tree is fully stocked!!! Even though it was Christmas Eve I found everything I needed and more. Shelves were less disheveled than I expected considering the holiday max last minute present dash and even at this late hour staff was friendly and energetic. I was very impressed.”
“I go here for particular things. The selection of dog chews and treats is huge. This is the only place near me that has a decent selection of frozen quessadias and chimichangas. The paperwork section is large and a notebook or a planner doesn't cost an arm and a leg. It's true that some items are overpriced. But there are bargains to be found if you look for them.”
“I love the shop here because it's close to my home. And it's convenient and I know where everything is in the store. However, I wish that they could get everything as far as the shelves being stocked under control, because it is a cluster in there. And you have to go up-and-down the aisle in a way that is inconvenient because of all the racks in the way full of merchandise that has not been stocked yet.”

“When I went into the store on Ryan Street I asked about cleaning supplies. Both employees helped me with what I needed. The store was so clean. Employees so nice. THEN…..I left my phone in the basket. I was frantic. To be honest with you I had no idea where my phone was. The store found it and put it up for me. All of my cards were intact. I want to thank them for that. Honesty to the max. Thank you Dollar General!!!!”
“This location is on our daily commute route so we stop here frequently.. It is always clean and organized.. Employees always greet upon entering the store and make themselves available if assistance is needed... It is a smaller location but always has the items we quickly need...”

“Dollar General in Moss Bluff is a big dollar store. It has the greatest selection on any product u should need. The customer service is top notch. Just a down south feel everyone is very friendly, and they were very helpful when I needed their assistance. I recommend that if u have to even drive 10 maybe even 15 miles out the way. It would still be worth it to shop at this store ppl. I'm telling u it is just amazing”
