I rent from Avis/Budget ALL the time, the type of customer service that I experienced here was awful. The young lady ALLISON was rude and nasty. I noticed that she treated other customers differently. I spoke to the manager, and he actually started to make excuses for her behavior. I ended up extending the rental for another day, that's when I experienced BRAXTON!!!! The perfect gentleman, he was super helpful and extremely nice. I appreciate him, Thanks Braxton!!!

Horrible customer service! All workers lack professionalism. They stand behind the counter acting like they hate their jobs instead of taking care of their customers. Never use this location!

The service really sucked. I rented a mini van 6 months in advance, when I got to this location I was told it would but 1 1/2 hours before they would be able to get the car I rented. Was given a smaller car so I asked for a discount as was told no. The car they give me was so dirty and had mud in it with the windshield being covered with bugs (had to stop and clean it), which was not something I should have had to do. Had a very similar problem in Orlando last month. I have a rental in June from Avis, think I will start looking for a different car rental service.

I loved showing up for my pre-reserved car and realizing they had run out of vehicles! Had to wait hours. Whole place was full of angry people waiting for vehicles. They will tell you that you can return the car after hours, but instead, you will show up and they will have blocked off the gates. You will be surrounded by other people, confused and in the same circumstance. So you’ll come back the following day to return the vehicle, only to find the lobby once again full of angry and waiting customers.

There were no cars available. Waited for a car. Manager approved to give us a car one level better than we rented so we could drive out to a plantation and then an airboat tour. Made it on time to our reservations. Next day returned the car - car had no problems. People were waiting for cars because again no cars available. Ironic our car was needed to rent out at drop off, then a month later we were billed $85 for tire pressure monitor. After reading everything they charged us for a flat tire in Texas 2 days later. UPDATE: the comments on this review helped us get our $85 back. Dropped off car on canal street New Orleans and was charged for a flat tire in Texas 2 days later. Thanks Avis for fixing the mistake.

Do not rent a car on weekends here. It took over an hour to get a car at 10 am on a Saturday morning and the line got longer during my time there. There was insufficient number of staff there. The staff did a good job but there weren’t enough of them. Avis also ran out of gas-powered vehicles, making only electric vehicles available. This was also an issue for some customers.

We reserved a 12 passenger van 2 months ago. We got here at 9:00. 30 mins early. They said we’d have to wait which is fine 30 mins later they said it’s not coming today and we won’t be able to get it and that they don’t have anymore vans. Now they gave us 2 itty bitty 5 passenger cars that have a whole lot of body damage. We’ve been waiting on the cars they gave us for over an hour.

Convenient location and the car itself was nice. Filled up with gas a few blocks away just before returning, yet I got a fuel charge when I looked at my charges later. It was good that I was still in the area, since I was able to go in the next day to show my receipt and the charge was removed quickly. I don't know how much headache that would have taken by phone had I left town.

Check your tires before renting out cars with low tire pressure! And the big dark skin girl with the nasty attitude working at the airport location needs to be trained on customer service and company policy especially if you're having her work with customer service, she's a joke.

DREADFUL experience. Waited 2.5 hours to pick up. Had to go to another location. Car wasn’t what I ordered, car wasn’t cleaned. Had to return before time I booked until as closing early. Manager rude and not even an apology. Worst experience of car hire. Really impacted my day and couldn’t do all the things I booked. Staff were bothered no care of consideration to customers at all.
