Better Future Program, Inc. (BFP) is a youth-run nonprofit based in New Orleans, dedicated to expanding peer-led political education and support for marginalized youth. I've had a wonderful experience as a community member and volunteer for BFP - the other members there are very welcoming and accommodating, and are all working towards clear, actionable goals. If you're looking to volunteer or self-educate on justice across the board, I would highly recommend this organisation. :)

I've volunteered here for several months and it is a wonderful experience, definitely the most friendly, inclusive, and inspiring environment I've ever been in. Encourages a lot of growth, reflection, and education. This is the place to go if you want to be part of a welcoming activist community and make a difference!
