I went to five shops in Mississippi, Arkansas, and New Orleans but Unbridalled blew away the competition with their customer service, selection process, and inventory. If you’re the type of bride who wants a hybrid shopping experience of having a shopping assistant pull recommendations AND being able to browse inventory yourself - this is your spot.

Unbridalled uses an online portal for you to select dress styles you’re interested in and write them notes about what you do and don’t like. I know what you’re thinking, “great more admin for the bride” 🙄 but they *actually* use this info unlike so many shops who you give a list of dresses to or who ask you to send a Pinterest vision board and never open the link. I showed up and Madelyn was up front waiting to greet us, had pulled five dresses for me based on my online notes, said several things that let me know she genuinely studied my bridal intake form, told me which racks to avoid based on cost and delivery window, then set me and my two friends free in the showroom. Through their shopping structure, I was able to try on nearly a dozen dresses. The Unbridalled inventory is fresh and perfect for a modern bride who wants some tradition elements in non-traditional dress. Madelyn’s sincerity and focus was impeccable - she was having so much fun with us but kept me on track. Kristen the manager was so kind and funny during my panic questions about customization and ordering. I cannot thank the Unbridalled team enough. Worth a drive to New Orleans!”

Amy, the owner, is wonderful, and Audrey was so helpful when we first selected options for my bridal party. The entire team is kind, organized, and makes the whole experience feel fun and celebratory rather than stressful.

I especially appreciated how smoothly they handled logistics for my bridesmaids who lived out of state — helping them choose dresses and ensuring everything arrived in plenty of time for tailoring. It made the process so much easier for everyone.

The location is also a bonus, with great coffee shops and restaurants nearby, so appointments can easily turn into a full, fun day with your bridal party.

The only reason I didn’t purchase my bridal gown there is that I was living in another city at the time — otherwise, I absolutely would have.

“The reason why I'm making this post is because my review of The Red Carpet came up on my phone. After thinking about that experience, I had to see if I left a review for Mrs. Gwen's Bridal Boutique.
Please allow me to place Mrs. Gwen on a pedestal. She is one of the sweetest, most considerate, highly skilled professionals, I have ever met. I neglected to give her her flowers in 2018. After spending over $700 at THE RED CARPET on Magazine and having the worst shopping experience (* Please check out my review*) I have ever encountered. After almost going to jail that day, I rushed over to Ms Gwen's Bridal Boutique for alterations. She was closed, and done for the day, but she opened her doors, saw the tattered mess of a dress I had, and her and her assistant went to work. She was my last hope, but God. God touched Mrs Gwen's heart. The owner of Red Carpet had used white thread on a black dress, put breast cups in the dress that you could see. She never adjusted my daughter's dress to size. There was a slew of other issues I dont remember. I do remember a hole that the owner of The Red Carpet created at the seam of the bottom of the dress. When I complained to the owner, she tried to charge me more. When I refused to pay, she persisted to destroy the dress.
I was pissed with myself that I didnt go to Ms Gwen first, considering that I had already heard she was one of the best. My daughter ended up absolutely Gorgeous, Thanks to Ms Gwen. I don't know how I had neglected to speak on this woman, but she is truly a God send to many, and I am forever grateful. I don't believe that she charged me much, but whatever she charged, wasn't enough. She deserved so much more. I was really going through alot at that time. Although this happened years ago, I will never forget her great customer service, compassion, and kindness. Thank you so much Mrs. Gwen. Forgive me for not telling this story along time ago. Blame it on my mind and not my heart. I hope you are getting the blessings you deserve. You and your wonderful assistant.”
