Fantastic experience, after a great dinner the building manager gave us a private tour of the old theatre which hosts the House of Blues special events. Incredible history in this place and truly a hidden gem of the French quarter. Go and check it out!

Cool decor and great atmosphere. You can actually get a real cocktail here.
Foundation Room will temporarily close for service operations until further notice. The safety of our guests, staff, and extended community has always been our highest priority; and these decisions are never made lightly. In the not so distant future, we look forward to and will be ready to welcome you back for the finest in food and craft cocktails! Till then…Hang in there, be kind, stay safe and this too shall pass. Be sure to check back for updates.
Other Information
Exclusive, sexy and private: These are the words that describe Foundation Room at House of Blues. Foundation Room appeals to an audience of well-heeled travelers and business people looking to impress clients, because the place requires an annual subscription to achieve entry. The otherworldly bar and series of lounges are festooned with enough exotic (mostly Asian) artifacts to fill a modest-size museum. Edged with curtained "cheaters" booths and illuminated by a mesmerizing central chandelier, the octagonal dining room is a fantasy in the Middle Eastern mode. The menu matches the visual spectacle, with such entrées as rack of lamb, double-cut pork chops and lemon ricotta ravioli. Small plates offer such delights as crispy Gulf oyster tacos and Angus beef sliders. The wine list is impressive, and the service as coddling as you'd expect at this high price level. The molten chocolate cake is, in a word, indulgent.
