Reporting this place to the city for health violations. The room was gross. Molding shower and bathmat, moldy mattress, hair from the prior guest, crusty blankets, and unswept floor. There were no towels which resulted in 3 texts, 2 voicemails, and using the sheets off the second bed to accommodate for the first day. The towels that did arrive, the second day (without communication) had bleached patches and felt older than I am. Then, there are the inconveniences: curtains that don't keep out the light, broken blinds, outlets that don't grasp plugs, tv didn't work, no towel racks, no hanging closet space, you can hear every guest door open and close due to the age of house/ lack of insulation/ poor venting, and barely enough room to walk around due to the size of the rooms and choice of beds. Camping is more comfortable than this. I hope the city takes action soon.

Terrible. Was catfished into thinking this was a real inn, which is bad enough, but there's no way to reach anyone with an issue. Thought all the bad reviews were typical transplant/tourist bad faith reviews but no, they're right. Arrived to an uncleaned room with the previous guests' unmade bed and unemptied trash waiting for me, even though I waited until 30 minutes after the start of check-in. Can't even relax and watch TV in the heat of the afternoon as it's stuck in a "signing out" cycle. There's not even a deadbolt or latch or other kind of lock other than the coded entry, which I'm fairly certain is a legal requirement. I've called and texted the contact number for assistance to no avail. Going to contact my card company for a charge back ASAP.

Yikes! We stayed here because it was the cheapest option, and thus didn't expect much, but we were still somehow disappointed. We arrived in the morning and couldn't get ahold of the owners. They finally texted us the door codes fifteen minutes before our check-in time, but told us our room wasn't ready and we'd have to wait until after check-in. No acknowledgement of the multiple times we tried calling, texting, and emailing them.We rented a two-bedroom suite. One of the beds did not have a top sheet, only a fitted sheet and a crunchy blanket. The blinds in one of the rooms had dirt and dead plant roots (?!?) all over them. Chunks of paint had also fallen off the walls of our bedrooms, which didn't really impact our stay but had concerning implications for overall maintenance/upkeep.There were only two bath towels for four of us. When we contacted the owners about this, they told us to look in a closet for more; there were no towels in that closet, and they did not respond to our further attempts to get in touch with them about the towels. The cold water tap in the shower broke on our second day, making it very difficult to shower. Owners did not respond to our multiple texts about this. There was a dog—maybe multiple dogs?—being kept in the room across from us. Whining and barking was audible. The cherry on top of all of this: while poking around in the drawers in the room for additional towels, we found several empty canisters of nitrous oxide. Hopefully it made the stay more bearable for someone, but for me, the discovery of the nitrous oxide canisters was the moment when I seriously considered cutting our losses and checking into the La Quinta—and we would have, too, if we weren't broke students.Location was admittedly great, but do not stay here, even if you're used to traveling on a budget. Would give 0 stars if I could.

They do not communicate. They did not send the key code so we could get into the building. We tried calling and emailing them. We had to find last minute hotel rooms on mardi gras. Place needs to be shut done. There is no customer.

I am in the process of working with the city to get this place inspected. They are permitted as a bed and breakfast but there is NO ONSITE STAFF to manage issues (against the permit requirements). Our shower didn't work and the other guests of this boarding house were unruly at all hours of the night. I called and emailed several times to no avail. This place used to have good reviews but upon further research this places was sold in 2019 and this is when their ratings tanked. Basically they take your money and you have to hope for the best. There were no sheet on the bed, only a crunchy (like it was burned but there were no marks so it was very rough) blanket. The TVs in the room wouldn't connect to the wifi either. This place is an unmanned free for all. Woke up one morning to a random person sleeping on the couch downstairs. DO NOT waste your time or your money coming to this place. The photos are not up to date and although I can at least say the place was clean that was the least of my worries after a sleepless night and a waterless shower. I would give NO stars if this app allowed me to.

Bring your own sheets and blankets? Bare beds, cold showers, and an uncommunicative landlord. Check in was at 4:30 PM, but even though we arrived around 5:30, we could not reach the landlord and get front door and room codes until after 9 PM. Fortunately, most of the group arrived the next day and were warned to ask in advance. Only 2 of the 7 beds in the rooms our group rented had full sets of sheets. The rest had only one bed sheet each, and not always the fitted sheet. At least one of those mattresses did not have a mattress cover either, and looked like it never had one. When we texted this to the landlord, we were told to look in the linen closet, which only had a set of twin sheets and some towels. Also, several of the blankets were filthy and there were no spare blankets in the linen closet. Rooms/suites in one half of the house had hot water, rooms in the other half did not, so probably a second water heater wasn't working. Yes, we tried both taps.At least the neighborhood was relatively quiet and relatively close to the French quarter, and the neighbors were all friendly. The landlord only responded to texts, and only did so to give door codes and the one time about the sheets.

This place does not exist. Uber driver dropped me here for a ten-day pre-paid stay. No signage, nobody here, no answer to knock on the doors, no answer to phone call, no sign of life, neighbors never heard of it. All I can do now is call American Express to report fraud then find a new last-minute reservation while I’m on the street with my luggage!

No communication. No response from voicemail and emails. You have to wait for codes to open front and room doors via text, which came to me at 5pm. Check in is at 4pm. AC and TV didn't work, room not cleaned well, debris on TV counter, only a fitted bedsheet and blanket, no top sheet in between. We'll see if there's hot water tomorrow which I now have read is non existent.

What you see is what you get.Self check in, your room will not get any service (I was lucky to catch a staffer who was cleaning another room where the guests had checked out of to get more toilet paper).Cleanliness is adequate, bed was very soft.No breakfast but they leave coffee and tea for self serve, there is a microwave.Walking distance from the French quarter so it was practical. Neighborhood felt safe.Light sleepers beware: you hear the commercial train that passes on the tracts by the water, for some reason it whistles several times. In summary: quality = price.I though it was worth it, spent the money I saved staying there on food (its the best!)

If location is most important to you, this is the right place. Not a huge room, but everything we needed was provided. There is hot water, although it takes a few minutes to get hot. Didn't see a single bug in the whole house. Queen bed, dresser, lamp, mini fridge with a small shower in a private bathroom. (Memories room)The back courtyard left a bit to be desired but for a quick smoke break it sufficed, as the whole house is non-smoking. Coffee pot, microwave and hot plate in commons area. This is not a luxury hotel but for a long weekend getaway, my husband and myself were very pleased.Contactless check in/out and our room was ready 3 hours earlier than expected. They sent a text to let us know it was ready.Overall, we would gladly stay here again! Took off 1 star simply for the courtyard and missed appeal. Would only take a weekend to make this area enjoyable.

There was no hot water in the hotel. The location is great (near city center) and the place is really nice (New Orleans historic style). Unfortunately, hot water in a hotel is a basic necessity and we don't want to paid that price for taking cold showers.

We stayed there this past weekend and for the most part, we enjoyed our stay. The room (Plantation) is small but has everything we needed. The shower water was warm and the A/C was working well. It was close to all of the fun without the noise, which made sleeping at night very pleasant. However, the first day we were there, we were supposed to check in at 3pm per their confirmation email. They sent us a code to enter the building around 1:30pm but we didn’t receive a text from them until 4pm with the code to our room, even though we had messaged them twice in between. My fiancé and I were in New Orleans for a wedding and was on a time crunch. I did not appreciate the lack of communication. Overall, the stay was fine but the communication could have been better.

Positives: good neighborhood, close to the quarter but not noisy. It was also a lot cheaper than other options in the area.Cons: memories room was extremely cold and we couldn’t figure out how to adjust. Only 2 towels and 1 roll of toilet paper for 2 people/ 4 nights. Also the bedding did not seem very clean and there weren’t any side tables. We don’t plan on coming back.

Room was filthy. The blanket on the bedwas encrusted with what I can only assume was bodily fluid. Underneath the bed was covered in dust, empty water bottles, and other trash. The room was freezing cold and the heater didn't work. No way to lock the door from the outside so I had to carry my valuables around with me all day. Contacted the inn about these problems and they never got back to me. Avoid at all costs.

This place does not exist. Uber driver dropped me here for a ten-day pre-paid stay. No signage, nobody here, no answer to knock on the doors, phone listed on Yelp is disconnected, the phone listed on gMaps is a generic answerbot, no sign of life, neighbors never heard of it. All I can do now is call American Express to report fraud then find a new last-minute reservation while I'm on the street with my luggage!
