“Staff is awesome and very friendly . I’m not a wine / liquor expert , but if you tell them what you like and budget they’ll find some great options for you .”
“It’s a nice wine spot and convenient place to pop in while in the area. It seems more geared to grabbing a bottle and perhaps some snacks. The wine by the glass list had about 10 options and they were priced well for the quality. The afternoon was quiet, though in the evening it was very packed.”
“By complete chance, I went in to browse and found fortaleza reposado. Getting my hands on that by complete accident is a miracle. The rest of their selection is incredible too!”
“BEST BURGERS & PHILLYS IN THE CITY!!!!!!!!!!!!! Never disappointed! From the food to the cook! Always good vibes. I love coming here especially at night. I am guaranteed a GREAT MEAL!!! Better tip my guy!!! Period!”
“Attended an event here and felt like I was in heaven. These are people who know their liquor.
Want something unique that fit your tastes, these people will not only point you in the right direction they will give you whatever history of the producer and/or the type of liquor itself.
When I move back to New Orleans I now k own how I go broke.”
“Great customer service with amazing selection! I’ve been coming here for years and Patrick and his staff have never let me down with a wine recommendation. Always crowd pleasers.
I served this South Africa blend at family event on Brady’s recommendation and it was the absolute best. Can’t find this anywhere else in town. This is the only place in the city I trust for wine picks for any occasion. Truly the best in New Orleans! Cheers!”
“Favorite deli in quarter. The staff is always jovial and loves my dog. The jelly donuts near register were surprisingly amazing. There is a cook here that makes damn good babaganoosh. One of the biggest pluses here is they open early. Yes people, a business in Nola that opens before 10am despite the world work times of average person. Clean and well run. Has a old school customer appreciation style along with big selection of products.”
“I recently visited Vino, and it was a delightful experience. I was surprised to find bottles from Valle de Guadalupe Mexico. (La Cetto)
Milton and Aly (owners) were incredibly knowledgeable and helpful, offering great recommendations tailored to my tastes. Whether you’re a wine connoisseur or a casual enthusiast, Vino (or Wine in English) is a fantastic destination for discovering exceptional wines at very affordable prices. Highly recommended!”
“The store is clean and well stocked. You can buy a money order and pay bills. They have a decent wine selection and lots of booze.
It's a great neighborhood store!”

“I bought a baguette with turkey, cheese, lettuce and tomatoes. It was very tasty. I think it would have been even better warm. There is also hot food and a smaller selection of groceries. They even have a toilet for customers.”
“In the times we are living in at the moment we look for a bargain every chance we can get it not happening here good store very convenient and good customer service and they will honor and help you as best they can with cash back wanted to give you a 5 but I would like to see a little bit more sales and prices marked down more often”
“Friendly service. I ordered a shrimp and catfish Poboy dressed that was a completely delicious and generous portion with a whole fish fillet. Definitely worth a trip for the po boys.”
“Walking by Nesbit’s Poeyfarre Street Market the thing that caught my eye was the original 1984 New Orleans Worlds Fair M.A.R.T. Gondola out front. I walked in and noticed how well stocked the place was and how friendly the staff were. The have a full selection of goodies, groceries, beverages and prepared foods. There is also a nice outdoor seating area.”
“Lenna was absolutely wonderful, she went out her way to make sure I got what I ordered and gave me even more options over the phone, the biggest thing I loved though, was that she had a smile on her face and you can tell she enjoyed helping someone in need, even if it was for alcohol, I commend her for customer service, she made me feel at ease and not like a burden, thank you Lenna for handling business the way you do, keep it up.”
“Cute lil wine shop w cute tiny bar been around well over a decade now. Variety of wines and a handful of niche bevs. Wine by the glass appx $7-12-ish before 10% tax and dont forget to tip. I have been charged wrong price per glass a lot (never less, always more) and dont love the paper to go cups for a glass of wine that has been $15 a glass after tip. I get paper is eco friendly but I have seen nicer eco to-go alternatives elsewhere. Overall a good spot.”
“I'm VERY new to wine. I spoke to Mr. Jeff in the shop who was very helpful in a particularly concise and refreshingly blunt, but not rude, manner. He wasted no time in directing me to something within the lines of something I had liked before. I will definitely be back, this place is great.”
“The people was so nice especially the man who helped us put the liquor inventory into my vehicle that was actually too small for all the stuff that I was picking up but it was my first time picking up so I didn't know”
“Every time I come to this store it is a great experience. The cleanliness of it an the most friendly service. I live on the West Bank and travel all the way to the east Bank to shop here. I love it an it has everything I use daily. A&M is a great store, won't find any other like them.”
“This spot is awesome. Owner & Staff are polite and very helpful. If you are planning a party and need to stock the bar, these guys have your needs down to a science. Check them out even if you are just looking around for something new or same thing. All prices are good. ??”
“Unlike some of the other local stores which have a $5 minimum for debit/credit purchases, these guys do not. They also have a good size portion of grits for a buck nineteen in the mornings and a good selection of cigars.”
“I decided to go here one day on a whim, and I can not think of a more intimate & professional wine shop. Although the selection seems small compared to big-box stores, rest assured that the it is highly curated and high-quality. When I visited the staff quickly helped me end my aimless wandering to wines not only of my favorite varietals but well within my price range. I ended up getting two rosés based on their recommendation. One was from France, which the staff described as "savory." He simply could not have been more correct: the wine was absolutely delectable, and left my mouth watering and begging for another sip. All that being said, it's not a wine I would've picked for myself, so I am SO glad he was there to steer me to something of my taste and budget. I simply could not recommend more to locals and tourists alike.”
“Currently closed for renovations due to Hurricane Ida, the BEST muffuletta’s in Nawlins’ are made by the Central Grocery. Stop next stop to Sidney’s Wine Cellar to grab their famous sandwiches!”
“This store is great! They have a handful of a variety convenience items at great prices. The main reason to go there is for their Chinese to-go food. They stuff those containers for a ridiculously low price. I’m fairly confident I could do it cheaper if I did it all myself. Everything our group all tried there was delicious. The cashier was so friendly. He gave us several recommendations of places to try all around. Highly suggest going to this place!”
“Food was FIRE! T is amazing in the kitchen! All the employees were awesome and would recommend that everyone come here. 11/10 for sure! BTW, did I say that T killed it when she made our food??? Cause she did!”

“Sam is the man! We moved into the neighborhood about a year ago and they started carrying the beers that my wife and I drink and Mario always makes sure they're stocked. Everyday we drive past 2 other corner stores to go there because they take care of their people. The food's good and well priced too.”

“Prytania Wine & Spirits is a beloved neighborhood establishment that’s been serving the community since the 1920s. They offer superior, professional service and a wide selection of beverages at competitive prices. The staff is friendly, the atmosphere is welcoming, and they’re always receptive to customer requests. Conveniently located in Uptown New Orleans, it’s a local favorite. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”
“Great place!!! I'll tell you one thing is that you will get what your looking for!!! This convenience store has great workers who can help you with what ever you are looking for.”
“So happy to discover this gem in New Orleans. An exceptional, well priced wine selection, and delicious salads, sandwiches, and cheeses to eat there or take out. Everything was super fresh and delicious. The biggest problem was trying to choose from all of the great selections!”
