Louisiana Super Save is a conveniently located gas station on Saint Charles that is well lit and safe. It is known as a great one-stop shop with good prices and a decent selection. Many highlight it as the best place for fried chicken and for big, tasty, and cheap poboys, including a very large option. The meat pies are also noted as being very good. It is a good place for Mardi Gras route supplies like liquor and ice. While there is no cover from the gas pumps to the store, it is a valued local spot.

Had to stop and get gas very inexpensive. I didn’t have any problems after so it looks like the gas was worth it. If it was raining, I’d probably give it four stars because there’s no cover from the gas to the store.

perfect example of old school new orleans overstuffed fried shimp poboy, one large poboy can easily feed three people.
