On my last visit, after a long drive from Texas, I arrived to find the hotel overbooked. Despite having a reservation, I was told there were no rooms available. Understandably frustrated, I expressed my concern — and that’s when Alicia stepped in. Even though she was off the clock, she came to the hotel to personally ensure I had a room. That kind of dedication is rare. Alicia is truly a jewel to Hampton Inn — her warm spirit and commitment to service are unmatched.

Another shining star is Felicia, who is consistently professional, kind, and attentive. She's a hard worker who always ensures that we have everything we need. Her friendliness and attention to detail make guests feel welcomed and valued.

Both Alicia and Felicia treat guests like family, and their hospitality is the reason this is the only hotel I will stay in when visiting Opelousas. Hampton Inn is lucky to have such remarkable employees representing their brand with excellence.
