“I wish the showers were a little bit bigger and the water pressure could be better. The laundry room is a good size but they have 1 washer and 2 dryers. The rooms are nice and clean and the staff is great! This hotel is a lot nicer than the other one we stayed at. I would definitely come back and recommend this place.”

“Went on a busy weekend, lots of pool players, including me, there for a tournament. Front desk was busy on arrival, one lady checking everyone in, she was very friendly and helpful despite all the people ready to get in their rooms. Room was clean and comfortable. My only complaint was the pillows were too soft and offered no neck support. Will stay again if I need to.”

“I recently stayed at this Hampton Inn and honestly, the staff here deserves a lot of credit. Everyone I interacted with was friendly, accommodating, outgoing, and genuinely seemed happy to help. The woman who booked my room — who I believe may have been the manager or front desk manager — was especially awesome. She clearly cared about the property and took pride in making sure guests were taken care of. That kind of hospitality stands out these days. The room itself was very clean, the bed was comfortable, and even the little details mattered — corners, bathroom, surfaces, everything looked well-kept. For the price I paid, it was honestly a really good value.
Now for the constructive criticism, and I truly mean constructive because this hotel is very close to being excellent. The biggest issue is the first impression when you pull in. The driveway and surrounding entrance area look pretty rough and unkempt. I understand part of that property may not belong to the hotel, but visually it blends together, and unfortunately first impressions matter. The exterior of the hotel itself also looks dingy and could really use a good pressure washing. It’s one of those situations where the staff is performing like a high-end hotel team while the outside of the building is giving “2007 roadside mystery motel” energy. The people inside deserve better curb appeal.
The only other thing I noticed was the humidity in the second-floor hallway. It felt unusually damp, almost like there may be a leak or HVAC issue somewhere. Not the end of the world, but definitely something maintenance should look into before it turns into a bigger problem later.
To the owner: you do not need a complete remodel here. You already have the hardest part — a fantastic staff that actually cares. But this property would benefit tremendously from a little investment in landscaping, exterior cleaning, and maintenance touch-ups. A few thousand dollars in the right places could make this hotel go from “good stay” to “easy five stars.” Your employees are doing their part. Meet them halfway.”
