“Abby has been a client at Slidell Vet. since she was able to come home. She was extremely sick and I called for an appointment and they got me in right away. She had to stay with them all day, but they took such great care of her and didn’t mind that I called often to check on her. I was also able to pick her up and bring her home from the night. I took her back the next day, but they didn’t have to keep her that day as her x-rays were clear. They were not only concerned for her but also for me. The entire staff is kind, dedicated, caring and supportive. I would not go anywhere else.”
“I'm new to the area and Southern Pearl associates made it so easy to establish service with them! I had my German Shepherd groomed with them first and she came home beautiful and smelling lovely.
Our second visit was for vet care and Dr. Kara was amazing! She was knowledgeable, kind, informative, and reassuring about my pets issues. They even offer boarding and doggy daycare, you won't find a better veterinary office anywhere!”

“Very impressed with the staff here at Gause Blvd Pet Hospital! Brought our cat in for a UTI, and wellness check and the staff was so sweet and patient. The made our cat feel so comfortable, providing treats and lots of love! Getting a urinalysis for a cat sounded like next level torture, but the team made it so quick, painless, and no big deal! They worked fast and my cat was comfortable the entire time. The lobby and exam rooms are clean and tidy! I felt like they listened to us and cared about our cat like their own. Would recommend to anyone needing a regular check up or have concerns about their pet.”

“I'vhe used Dr.Fereday, for years.He is the BEST vet I'v ever found. I have live all over in different states. And l'v know some good ones.But Dr. Fereday thinks of your dog first and you second. He has been there when l had to put my baby down and l really think he was praying with me. Because l told him that l think my baby was in heaven. He has taken care of my baby's for years.I can not find enough good words to say about him.But be ready because your baby will come first.And that's just fine with me.And his staff is sweet too. “Dr Alex and the staff are amazing! We rescued a 13 year old dog in December 2025 from a situation where the owner was not capable of caring for him. When we saw him, he had no use of any legs. He had pressure ulcers to the bone on both sides of his shoulders. He was in so much pain and we honestly thought it was the end but we wanted to see if there was anything we could do for this sweet baby just to give him a little love and care. Any other vet may have said euthanasia would be best but she saw how much we wanted to try and she did everything she could to set us up for success. It was a very hard road but Buddy is doing so well!! She's compassionate, caring, and you can tell loves her job.
I recommended a few other people to her and they all had the same great things to say!”

“This is by Far THE BEST Veterinary Place with Exceptional Service. I Love my Vet Laura ( hope I Spelled it right) She is really Nice and Knowledgeable. Love the Receptionists who are Nice too. Years ago before moving to Slidell I had Many Different animals and Raised Lil TOY Yorkies and this is BY FAR the BEST ONE YET. Keep UP THE GREAT WORK YOU are Doing for Our FURRY CHILDREN. I do believe they are Family Members whole HEARTEDLY They Listen More than some people's children.”
