“Edit: Still our provider for our family pets.
Our cat, Walter, had a urgent matter. They saw him quickly. After a couple of days of care, he's made a full recovery and is ready to come home.
I never worried about him while in their care.
Absolutely the best experience.
I switched vets and I'm so happy I did! Staff is awesome. Very convenient hours.
Walter the Cat is happy 😊”
“Arcadia Veterinary Clinic went above and beyond for my little Chihuahua when we had an emergency while visiting Slidell. The staff were so kind, compassionate, and professional—they truly treated us like family. When a winter storm later kept us from seeing our local vet in Monroe, they even helped with my dog’s medication over the phone. I’m so grateful for their care and highly recommend them to anyone who loves their pets!”

“I have 4 sweet boy cats and they are my world. When one of them got sick, I debated bringing him to our old vet that's an hour away. Honestly, that just didn't feel plausible. I started doing research to find the top-rated vets in Slidell and Brownswitch was at the top of the list every single time. And let me tell you, there's a reason why.
We made an appointment for the very next day and we were in and out in less than 45 minutes! When we got to the exam room, they gave Bubbacat (yes that's his real name lol) a treat so he could relax a bit (he loves those squeezy treats lol)! Dr. Marshall and his techs were absolutely amazing with my sweet boy and explained everything to me in detail! They explained the procedure, the recovery, exactly what to expect at home, etc. We left with medication, a complimentary nail trim, and a happier/healthier cat. The price for the service was fitting considering everything that was done! I actually left with money still in my pocket and felt reassured that my baby would be just fine. We loved it here and Brownswitch will now be our forever vet!”
“We took our new mini dachshund in for his first appointment and the Dr and staff were very informative as we are new to puppy parenting. They were patient and explained everything and answered ALL of our questions. 10/10 stars”

“The staff here is fantastic. My baby went into cardiac arrest twice. Dr. Christine and her staff worked diligently to get her back. Two weeks later and she is still here and such a miracle. The staff here care for your pups as if they are your own. They show love as soon as you walk in the door. I highly recommend. I never felt more comfortable and I’m even more at ease relocating to Pontchartrain Animal hospital from our old vet in Marrero since we have relocated. If I could give 100 stars I would.”

“I had such a positive experience bringing my cat, Fluffy, here. They helped us almost immediately, and everyone was incredibly kind and compassionate. Once we were brought to the back, they patiently answered every question I had—I never felt rushed or like I was bothering them.
Dr. Poche was extremely knowledgeable and took the time to explain everything clearly. It truly felt like the entire team cared not only about Fluffy’s health, but also about what I could realistically afford. A special shout-out to the front desk team for helping me explore financial-support options, and to Dr. Poche for her knowledge and compassion. I’m so grateful for the care Fluffy received!”

“I'vhe used Dr.Fereday, for years. He is the BEST vet I'v ever found. I have live all over in different states. And l'v know some good ones. But Dr. Fereday thinks of your dog first and you second. He has been there when l had to put my baby down and l really think he was praying with me. Because l told him that l think my baby was in heaven. He has taken care of my baby's for years.I can not find enough good words to say about him.But be ready because your baby will come first. And that's just fine with me.And his staff is sweet too. I'm from Sildell La.”
“Awesome place. Staff super helpful and friendly Dr B is awesome and very passionate about what he does and care he offers. Hope he never retires as long as I still have a pet in my life!”
“Took our pug today (Sunday) she hasn't been feeling well this weekend. We are so grateful they are open on Sundays. We we didn't have to drive 45 min to the emergency vet clinic which would have cost us alot more. Dr Fox and the entire staff were wonderful with our baby girl. They didn't try to do any unnecessary tests or treatments. Offered and included us with options and rationals to why certain things should be done and why she felt other things weren't necessary without any pressure. We walked out with complete confidence in the treatment decisions and feel our pug received excellent treatment. We will definitely go back again if our fur daughter needs any other urgent care needs.”
“Love Pontchartrain Animal Hospital! The vets and staff there take such good care of my fur babies! And I board mygirls there and the staff goes the extra mile! When one of my dogs did not eat while being boarded, the staff hand fed her ... that is love!”

“They made me feel welcomed and comfortable. They treated my cat with love and care like if she was their own cat. I am a new client and I will bring all my pets there.”
