We live on the west side of the Mississippi River across from Baton Rouge, and anybody who lives in this area knows that nobody wants to slog across the river if they don't absolutely have to. We don't have any big box stores like Lowes or Home Depot. Bayou Road Ace Hardware is just one of the local stores that let us shop on the Westside and skip the traffic. It's the first place we go for hardware needs. I like that they've also got a great selection of MCWare cookware and a lot of different spices and seasoning for our cooking and grilling needs. The store is clean, well-stocked, and easy to get to, and I can always find someone to help me with whatever I need. Shop local, y'all!”

They have the best selection of nice outdoor furniture and a healthy selection of high-end BBQ pits!If you have to get a gift for someone and have no idea what to get or where to start, go here! They stock a lot of items by local artists like hand painted glassware and a big selection of funky LSU/Saints paraphernalia. They have everything you need for crawfish boils, tailgating parties, they have entire outdoor kitchens, cool kitchen gadgets, bird feeders, windchimes, other patio decor stuff....Its also one of the only places I know of that will "refill" your propane tank, meaning, top it off, instead of swapping it out. You know how sometimes you have like a third of a tank of propane and you don't want to risk it going empty on you when you're in the middle of bbq-ing, but you don't want to swap out a tank thats a third full..... Well, for like half the price you can top off your tank.They also offer assembly and delivery of BBQ pits. Its taken me like 6 hours to assemble a bbq pit in the past. I bought a bbq pit for my boyfriend once for his birthday and they delivered it fully assembled, it took them like 5 minutes to get it off the truck and up the driveway. My boyfriend was taking a nap at the time and slept right through it so when he woke up, BAM! Giant BBQ pit ready to go - like it just fell out of the sky. The staff is helpful and knowledgeable about every product they sell.There's always someone that will ask if you need any help finding anything. Just come check this place out, you won't be disappointed.”
