“My family goes to this facility. The 4 stars is representing a good facility with potential to be great. Areas for improving: open gym bias, engagement of trainers to keep folk safe on the free weights and resistance machines. The morning desk coordinator is great.”

“We came on a weekend on a LSU game day. We had no problem with traffic getting to the museum itself, even with the game going on. It wasn’t too crowded when we got there. When we entered, my poor baby tripped and busted open his lip (he tripped on himself, he’s very clumsy). Like an angel descending from the heavens, Trish at the front desk came out with napkins and an ice pack to make sure that my baby was ok. She made sure that I had everything I needed to take care of his injury. Other employees are coming out to check on me and they were all so sweet. Trish came to check on him and I when I was cleaning him off and I cannot sing enough praises. They knew how to keep a frazzled mom calm. Just for her care and the employees care, I will come back to this museum again! It was so nice too, love the outdoor area and the dance studio!”

“Bought a refurbished laptop and it works just as well as one I would buy off the shelf at a big box store and less than half the price! So thankful for these guys!”

“Attended an awards ceremony here. The facility is nice & was perfect for our event. The only thing to be mindful of is the parking. The lot is across the street and is extremely small. It fills up quickly & you might have to park on the street or down the block.”

“The inventory varies from visit to visit based on the donations received. I was able to find most of the light fixtures I was looking for. The best part of shopping here is meeting the volunteers and employees that work at this location. They are so kind to everyone who comes into the store. They went out of their way to help me get what I was looking for and make the most of the money I had to work with. I left feeling encouraged and uplifted. I would love to volunteer here myself but live hours away in the north end of Louisiana. Please do yourself and your local community a favor and support this store. Volunteer your time. Donate the things that no longer serve you. Shop for the things you need here. It's a great cause that is built on the people who are involved. Thanks for the wonderful experience!”

“I had reached out to them for assistance before, and they could not help me, but referred me to a place that could. I came recently for an author event for finding peace within yourself and found this to be a perfect spot for that. Very warm and inviting. They also have a community refrigerator, so that is a nice thing to have.”

“When we decided to pursue adoption we first signed up with an Adoption Consultant Agency. They were very helpful but we felt drawn to meet with St. Elizabeth. We had an initial visit with Mrs. Terri Casso and we felt an instant connection and just peace that this is where we were supposed to be. It was not but a month later when we were chosen to adopt by a birth mother due in less than a month. St. Elizabeth walked every step with us to doctor visits with Birth Mom to the hospital stay. They were able to advocate for us to have a hospital room. They have been so supportive of us and of our sons Biological mother and family. If we decide to adopt again we will definitely go through St. Elizabeth as they have become like family to us!”

“I transferred to the GSU Toastmaster Club from another Baton Rouge area Toastmasters Club. I look forward to each meeting and I have never regretted the time I spend in the club settings. Each meeting I come away with more knowledge and understanding about public speaking. It is a never-ending journey of learning and bettering one's self. I love my GSU Toastmasters family. The thing that is amazing about Toastmasters is that there are two tracks, one that teaches you to become a better speaker. The other track, which is less popular but as important is the leadership track. This track teaches leaders to be more”

“I come here for Live 2 Serve, and it's the best way to spend your free time playing with the children who are less fortunate in the Baton Rouge, also this is the best way for students to help these children to be active in their community.”

“I had the opportunity to give back to my community by volunteering at this wonderful organization this year. LORI has made a very positive impact to my life and the lives of many immigrants and refugees who use their services. What stood out to me the most was the numerous services they offer free of charge including education for people interested in learning English as a second language or preparing for their citizenship, Legal assistance and advocacy and many others. I look forward to volunteering again when classes begin.Words cannot express how grateful we are to you all who have poured into this phenomenal organization, we’re beyond grateful.”

“I recommend that they remove my home number from their flyers and reprint the flyers with the correct number. Quit hanging the flyer on the door with my number. Then one person had a flyer with one of the numbers scratched out barely. It is very frustrating for me to provide the correct number to a minimum of 10 people of day. I get calls even late at night. This has been happening for at least 3 years and I call at least every couple months and it seems nothing happens. I also work from home so there are times that I am on a zoom call for work and then my phone is ringing asking to drop or pick up items. I am not an operator for Salvation Army. Come on get you’ll stuff together. I hate to post this but if this doesn’t get you’ll attention I am contacting headquarters because I refuse to change my number.”
