“Well maintained clean trucks. A dolly and moving blankets are attached to storage bay if you need them. No charge if you don't use them. If you do need them, just clip the plastic tamper seal, and they will charge you a small fee upon truck return.”

“I had a great experience at the Ryder office in Baton Rouge. Porsche was EXCELLENT in every way. I called to see if a truck was available and told her it would be about 2 hours before I would know for sure we would need it, and when I did call back, she told me she had already worked it up and had it ready to go! “Returning a one way rental was extremely easy and fast. They called ahead of time (unprompted and early in the day) to give us the gate code if we wanted to return truck after hours. The people there were very friendly. No surprise charges. Will absolutely use again!”

“I made my reservation online. When I picked up the vehicle, we found out that whoever had forewarded the order to Brothers Ace Hardware had deleted the request for an appliance dolly, but not notified anyone, not even me. My move was a small one (two refrigerators), but, due to issues at the delivery site, a regular dolly would not work, and the lack of an appliance dolly would have forced me to reschedule it. Several people would have been inconvenienced because of it. Brothers had only one dolly-- for use in the store-- but rented it to me for my move. That is customer service.
U-Haul should look into how its online reservation system notifies customers about changes.”
“Gosh, I am bummed to see the reviews so low here. I had fantastic experience here form start to finish. The only odd thing I experienced was that I booked for one location, but it got changed to another location. Thankfully, it wasn't too far and I was still able to get to it in a timely manner and still end up at the next location I needed to be at. Upon arrival, I walked up to the counter and I was taken care of fairly quick. Signed, sealed, delivered and I was on my way with the 10' U-Haul truck I needed for 24 hours. It was too easy. Truck was clean and spacious enough for us to move all of our stuff. Make sure you are aware of when you place your order that it starts at $19.95 and it can go up from there pretty quick because they charge mileage. Even though you are quoted a price, when you pick-up that price could change, when you drop off the truck just depending on how much you drove with it. Though I do not prefer this pick-up location, it was easier than the other location I picked up before because this is an official U-Haul store. Need boxes, packing tape and other moving accessories, they have them here. I ended up renting a handtruck with my order, which was extremely helpful in the moving process. The customer service was quite professional and I was so glad that I ended up using this location. I highly recommend this location.”
