“Had an appointment with Becky for a helix piercing to match an existing piercing on the opposite ear. Not only was she so up-beat and friendly, but she fiddled with the placement of the piercing until it was as symmetrical to the other ear as any human could get it. What a precious person! “Was having trouble with my english horn and didn't have time to ship it to an out-of-state double reed specialty repair shop. A clarinet player friend highly recommended Michon's, but I was skeptical about the abilities of any local repairer to diagnose the problem. After all, most of them aren't familiar with the oboe, much less an english horn!
To my surprise, Mr. Sal was able to identify the problem quickly, and he repaired it while I waited! The man really knows his way around woodwind instruments! All in all, I was in his shop less than 30 minutes and I walked out with a working horn.
So glad that I listened to my friend's advice and went to Michon's. Thank you Mr. Sal! So grateful to have found a local repairer I could trust! We are lucky to have someone like you to support the musicians of the New Orleans area!”
