“It’s been just over a month now , but on January 25 th 2026 , my 5 year and 2 month old battery was just about Dead . This was a little after 12 :00 noon on a Sunday . It had been cold and raining since the day before and the rain had just let up , and it was the first of two straight weekends of Extreme cold and a Deep Freeze that was going to occur in this area . The temperature at the time was 44 degrees with a wind chill of 31 in the middle of the day . I live between the Auto Zone and O ‘Reilly ‘s and therefore I could have chosen either one to check my battery . I chose this particular O’ Reilly’s because I had used both them and the Auto Zone in the past , and I loved and Remembered the customer service i had previously gotten at this O’Reilly’s as opposed to to the Auto Zone . There were 3 employees there at the time plus Garret the manager . All were very kind to me but the Service from Garret was Exceptional . On that very cold day on which I was personally Freezing , Garret promptly came outside to check my battery , and then he replaced it , and in all that cold windy weather , he also did extras like spraying and cleaning my battery cables and the area underneath where the new battery would go , plus checked my alternator also . I was. - and I still am so grateful for his service to me , in the extreme weather . To sum this all up , I could have went to Auto Zone , but this particular O ‘ Reilly’s WOWS me with their Customer Service , and by the way , I spent my entire working career in Customer Service , so I know what’s it’s suppose to be like . So Garret , I deeply Appreciate what you did for me , and for the great customer service I always get from your crew even when you’re not there .
