Customer service is in India and good luck getting any help. I had to correct my verbal password twice. Once on the phone second via text. The security specialist spelled it wrong both times now I can't log in. How do you misspell from a text? Is it so hard to have a U.S. service center?

ADT is absolutely horrible!!! The men sent out to my house did so much damage to my walls and they didn't even fix it. My husband complained and ask them to fix it and NOPE! Very unprofessional!

Horrible company.. They try to pin you in a contract and play games when you want to change companies. My contract is up but I've been on hold for an hour to cancel my service.. The reason I'm leaving is their equipment stopped working and then they basically asked me to fix it myself or be charged $200 to come out.. Use any other company

ADT is by far the worst provider you could possibly consider for service. They want to charge you for everything they come out for and then nothing is fixed correctly when they leave. The representative Janiya lied about waving the fee for the service call. She reassured me that it was documented in her notes. Either she lied or the lazy technician Matt lied that he didn’t see it in the notes. I’m really sick and tired of being sick and tired of them. I’m going to file a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission.

Had a faulty door key pad/lock and was locked out of the house for 5 hours and after expressing I had a dog inside which I needed to feed and let out, ADT representative said that did not warrant an emergency and they could possibly send out a technician the next day. For a company that says their priority is protecting your family it sure doesn’t seem they practice what they preach. Don’t give them your time or money. STAY AWAY!

Been with them 4 years. My doorball camera stop working. Tried to upsell me more products then say it would cost $59 to send a tech to figure out what is wrong with their faulty product. You lost a customer for life. Good Job ADT. Not worth the extra charge.

The technician came to the home without all the equipment. Did not receive all equipment asked for. Receive wrong number from technician when given ask to contact corporate office. Technician did not communicate before leaving. Technician would not answer phone due to customer having questions. Called corporate office, was told someone would return my call but no one called.

I would not recommend ADT, they lied to me about my installation date by assigning it to another customer then never showed up when they reissued me my installation date. I spoke with a manager regarding the problem and instead of fixing their error I got a excuse and still no installation. This company should be ashamed!

Installed main panel in master bedroom and did not tell me that my paneled room would have a big hole in it that cannot be repaired if you take the system out. Salesman tried to sell me cameras so that I could check inside house when not there. No pets. Why would I want to look at my refrigerator. The smoke detector went off for NO reason, was not even cooking and it screamed for one hour. Could NOT stop it. It was horrible. Was just making a sandwich. Try listening to that for one hour. Next day I was heating some asparagus and the thing went off. It screamed for 2 hours. ADT said there was no way to stop it from where they were. And it would take a week for a service person to come out. It was horrible and that was our anniversery. Only way you can stop the alarm is to climb up and remove the batteries and I am almost 90 and cannot do that. Have no family within 1500 miles. Do not know any of my neighbors. I quit. And am paying them to come out and power down the system and take the batteries of all out and take the sensors off of my outside doors. Oh and was told when I cancelled that each time the alarm went off, my rate would be raised for that year and next year it goes off, rate goes up and it is double plus what I was told it would cost to start with. Want to mention that we had been having issues with the smoke detector and had a service man come out the friday before all this happened. Paid him and he said we would have no more problems. Ha! And this guy came in from about 100 miles away, apparently no service people in Shreveport. Will never ever use or recommend ADT to anyone.

Never Again!Disconnected Service months ago. They continued billing me for monitoring a system that did not exist. When I called they said I had to submitted a notice in writing. Then they billed me for another 30 days from the date they received the written notice. Very difficult to do business with. Fraudsters.

So after "Carla" with ADT sent me an email to contact ADT customer service at ALWAYSTHERE in the email address - ZERO response. After three attempts. So no one returns message via telephone nor email. I reiterate WORSE SECURITY COMPANY PERIOD. Save yourself the money and frustration and go with another provider. This particular office was out of Tyler, Texas / but corporate ADT offers NO SUPPORT.

It's a shame I have to give it any stars! Took a couple of times coming back to fully secure our home I had to find spots that weren't cover by motion detection. Then they said it was fix and once again I showed how it wasn't still covering blind spot of 10 feet a door and a window. Really! Now on a military move their trying to take advantage of them moving us and trying to charge us 640 dollars early termination fee, but said that if we prove we moved it would be dropped. Funny thing is their calling us 4 states away every week trying to sign us up there. But we have the prove we moved also new home owner signed up for their service. Are you kidding me! Isn't that double dipping of being less than honest!!!!! Here's my recommendation to everyone for ADT don't be taken in I ask for copy of contract showing this says it's their policy! Here my policy ADT see you in small claims court and attorney general's office, better business bureau USAA for a start. Enjoy! Way to treat the military
