“I went into this store about a week ago right before they closed and had the most enjoyable experience I’ve ever had at a clothing store. The employee at the fitting rooms ( I asked her name, it was April) was so extremely helpful in finding me the right size and made the experience so much better. I hate going into fitting rooms but she helped relieve all anxiety I had. Definitely went above and beyond. People are usually unhappy to see customers near closing time, but not April. Definitely a shining star in that place. Will be returning often.”

“So I went to this store for the first time today. I am a working mom and sometimes I forget things. I was shopping for my children and set some items to the side to grab some shoes. And I got home thinking I had purchased the items I sat down but I did not. I called the store immediately to see if I had left any items. I spoke with a man very very sweet and patient the entire time. Checked the cameras and went through every scan with me! He was so so very sweet after calling and speaking with him I quickly remembered I had set the items down! But I had an amazing experience in the store and speaking with the gentleman that helped me!”
“I've been shopping at American Eagle for years! This is one of the places where I can get my jeans in a short (length). They know how to change with the season. Trendy clothes and always has some type of sale! I love the buy one, get one half off! The store is always clean and the staff is friendly! I'm really appreciating their new location on Youree Drive as it's closer to me now!”
“stopped in to get some new body jewelry, and was immediately greeted and helped by the staff who were super cool and friendly! they were very educated & professional when telling me what kind would work best for me since i have sensitive skin. they helped me pick a couple of different pieces, and told me since i was already getting two sets, i could get another two for free!! i went ahead and picked up some piercing after care as recommended by the staff. i shopped around a little more, the store was very clean, and good vibes all around. they have a really good selection of shirts so i picked up a few of those as well. will definitely be back!!!”

So the owner and I have become close friends, she is so dear to me, she really cares about her customers and goes ABOVE and BEYOND to make sure her customers leave happy and with what they want even if they didn’t know they wanted or needed it! She talks to you, gets your vibe and will make great suggestions if by chance you can’t make a decision!! I honesty can’t say enough great things about this boutique!! I will continue to spend money there and support a small business by a HARD WORKING ROCK STAR!! ❤️❤️❤️”

“The Pretenses boutique has been in business for many years. When I first visited the boutique I immediately recognized the talented, experienced, merchandising. The options that were available are of a nicer quality clothing that I like. I have shopped at Pretenses Boutique on numerous occasions and found quality pieces of clothing that are to me exclusive. I have also purchased some of the scented lotions and creams from the in store bodycare line that felt like luxury to me. I would definitely recommend this place and will shop there again.”

“Have shopped here since it opened. But I notice over the years there are less and less curvy cut pants and jeans. And less and less sizes above a 10. I now order all my pants and jeans online. I would much rather shop in store to support it. It would be great if they would increase offering of curvy and sizes above 10. This is Louisiana. We like to eat!”
