“We stayed here overnight on a long trip to Illinois. Didn't hit it big but my luck has been bad for a while now ?P.S. Some employees were pretty rude or maybe just having a bad day ? The ladies bringing the drinks were very nice ?”

“Service is top-notch. Everything from the front desk to valet. The latter even helped get my bags from my room to my car after I left for a meeting, and checked in to make sure I had coffee or a piece of fruit to start my day. Super nice crew there.The interior has a very cool vibe. The rooms themselves need a bit of a refresh (paint, stained faucets and hard water marked sinks, and the tub is a no-go for me ?). But overall, still seemed clean.Only real complaint was the noise. They have hardwood or tiled floors, even in the rooms, so I listened to high heels clacking a floor above me late into the night. Ear plugs helped though.”

“Attractive room, clean and well-mannered. Quiet, except when the adjacent interstate, train or USAF created loud noise through the night. There was a mercury vapor light just outside my room window, which could not be completely blocked. Finally, the staff was very friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was fresh and tasty. Good job!”

“Nothing fancy but clean. The bathroom sink was draining slowly but overall a good stop off for rest. They do need to be informed of service dog admittance and federal and state laws. Service dogs (not emotional support) are allowed without scrutiny. You do not have to provide paperwork even by law. Only 2 questions can be asked as to what services the service dog provides. The only time any paperwork has to be provided is when flying airlines and that is a Federal DOT form with info on the form. My service dog travels with me everywhere. And yes, there is a HUGE difference in a Serboce dog and an emotional support animal. Mine has over 700 hours of training. Thanks”

“I just wanted to take time to leave some recognition for front desk evening staff at this location. My hope is that their boss/administration sees this. 11/2-11/3 I was dealing with a car accident while traveling through downtown and needed to stay for 2 nights and get things sorted out. Both nights, Tajanae & Marcus were there. I was really upset and stressed out and these two were some of the kindest strangers I’ve ever dealt with. They checked on me constantly, they asked if me I was okay, offered snacks and water, just more than they needed to do. They always had smiles on their faces, too. I was happy & relieved to see them working night 2 for their kindness alone. Great front desk/customer service given. Thank you, two.Noteworthy details: See comment about staff.”

“This is a very nice place to stay. I've been here on business multiple times and the staff here are just amazing. At check-in the front desk clerk made sure to tell me that the managers read all the reviews and work hard to care for the customers - so all I had to do was ask & they would do their best to accommodate my requests. I was working in the area just days after a storm had come though, many companies were sent out to do cleanup operations and every place was sold out/jacking up the prices. The staff/manager were very kind & helpful. It was obvious they hadn't had much time off & were exhausted but still worked hard to care for the guests.My only concern is the fact that the side doors are locked in the evenings. The front desk said it was a security precaution. Otherwise a great stay & I'll be back next time I'm in town.”

“Was in the area and swung by for lunch and to drop a $20. Slots kept me longer than most casinos, so I was happy with that.The cafe, on the otherhand, must have been short staffed. Service was minimal, tables needed to be bussed, I asked for soda water (carbonated) and received a bottle of water, my food order took a long time to come out (I almost left).Side note: there was a very young child alone in a booth behind me, she was maybe four years old. Her mother seemed to be one of the servers.”

“The sweet front desk girl at motel 6 helped us when the extended stay two business down booked us at 9 pm because we booked ahead of time knowing we wouldn’t make it home in time (and also stole our money!!) turned us away at 12 pm!! After waiting 30 minutes and shut the window on us!! We , at a last resort went to motel 6 and she got us a room in 5 minutes!!! Sweetest girl ever and deserves a raise!!!!!Safety: Locks on doors and clean bedding”
