As a New Yorker returned to Shreveport, it's an incredible delight to find a venue that is not only family friendly, but literally transforming downtown Shreveport for the betterment of the city! 10/10”
“We had our wedding at 601 Spring, and it was truly the best decision we could have made. From start to finish, Allie was incredible to work with—she was so communicative, attentive, and full of thoughtful suggestions that helped us make the most of our day. She made the entire process feel seamless and stress-free.
The venue itself is absolutely stunning. We rented out the entire building, and every space—from the ceremony area to the reception rooms—had the most beautiful natural lighting. It honestly needs very little décor because it’s already so gorgeous on its own.
Our guests are still raving about the food and drinks! Everything was delicious, and the bartenders were fantastic—they were quick, attentive, and even seemed to anticipate what guests would want before they got to the bar.
Another huge bonus was having both a bridal suite and groom’s suite on-site, which made getting ready so easy and enjoyable.
Overall, 601 Spring exceeded every expectation we had. If you’re considering this venue, don’t hesitate—it truly made our wedding day unforgettable.”

“This is a SPECIAL Place for me.. It's where I shot 1 of my 1st photos..It's beautiful! The way they built up the wall over the Restrooms that step down and around to the parking lot next to Sci-Port.. Perched up there, overlooking the Red River.. You can just feel the peacefulness atop the circular "Lookout" spot... Music Festivals, Art Festivals, Rockets Over The Red, and sooo much more entertainment, Carnival Rides, and more!!! It's a magical place!! #Shreveport is where I grew up. I left, and came back. Good people live here! Enjoy the photos. And ALWAYS.... LOVE EACH OTHER!”
“Huge space that hosts excellent galleries. We dropped off a large piece for the upcoming Critical Mass show and the staff were SO HELPFUL. The space is empty right now because they're getting ready for Critical Mass but it's a wonderful space and a much needed outlet for local artists to showcase their work.”
“Excellent venue. We were a large group and we all had seating accommodation in various areas and various rooms. The DJ was amazing. I do not know if the DJ was part of our planning or part of the venue. The chicken or fish was cooked to order and very flavorful. The drinks were very good. Excellent venue.”

“To be honest we absolutely loved the place and the people that worked there. It is sooooo charming and alot of history. However I believe it is really understaffed which reflects when you are going to a boutique style stay. Never came and tidied up the room while we were there for 4 days and very rarely was someone at the front desk or bar area. However the people that were there working were having to do everything from check you in to valet to making drinks and asking questions and typically it was one person. They were great though. But all in all I would recommend it as it is a really neat place!”

“We had a lovely stay and it was unexpectedly really great service for a budget stay! The rooms were very clean and I could tell the staff takes pride. They were always cleaning when not checking people in. The staff was very helpful at recommending local businesses to meet our needs. They really made a good stay into a great one!
The breakfast was also really good!”
“This theatre and the staff there (and at corporate) are completely amazing! I had a scheduling issue which was completely my fault, but they handled it like the champs they are. I brought a school bus of students on the wrong date, but they let us watch a movie and have our pre-purchased snacks! The theatre was clean and well maintained. I will definitely schedule with this location again.”

“I had my wedding here a few weeks ago and it was everything I could imagine. They made all the table center pieces and my bouquet I loved them so much. They made everything look so beautiful. And Katie is literally the best. She knows that day is so stressful and she does her absolute best to take away as much stress as possible. 10/10 would recommend doing any event there.”
