“I don't care what anybody says, how many of my friends put it down, or how many times I hear "dirty Dell" or the fact that SPD falsified a police report when they arrested me 5 years ago. You know what? I still love Slidell. The fact that I own my home in the middle of the city AND I'm located on a 1.5 acre wooded lot with a bayou running through only solidified my love of this city. The city is growing and that is good for business, entertainment and recreation, but it's BAD for traffic. My only complaint about Slidell is they need some serious road widening all over the place. Slidell is located: 30 minutes from downtown New Orleans 25 minutes from Mandeville/Lakefront/Covington area 15 minutes from the pristine Honey Island Swamp 35-45 minutes from the MS Gulf coast 15 minutes away from Big Branch Marsh 20 minutes away from Fountableau State Park Slidell has a decent small town nightlife which can be just as fun as going downtown on some nights. It has really great restaurants. I don't shop too much since the rise of the internet, but it's got good shopping as well! I've seen some shithole little small towns, my friend, and let me tell you, Slidell is not one of them. In the next few years, I foresee that Slidell will no longer be one of those small towns, but will still have that down home, small town feel. And I will still be here, and I will still love it.”

“Normally very nice branch. I always get in and out fast whether it’s the drive thru or the lobby and they’re pretty good at fixing any issues that pop up for me. I have a savings, checking and credit card with them and all have been pleasant experiences.I’ve had one off-putting visit but I chalk that up to the staff member I happened to be working with. I was handling some business inside with the teller and asked I her if I could withdraw some cash while I was speaking to her and she literally looked at me like I was stupid and said “there’s an ATM outside”. I looked at her and said “but you could do it right here and now for me” and she then rolled her eyes and said “Fine. What you wanna get out?”. I didn’t appreciate her attitude and when I mentioned it to another employee as I was leaving, they apologized and said “I’m sorry you had bad time with her. You’re not the first person. Please lemme know if I can help instead”If the employees are willing to say this about their coworkers and other customers have complained, then why is this woman still working there?! It’s bad for morale and bad for business. I know plenty of folks who would love to work for an established company like capital one and would have a pleasant attitude”
“After being a Chase customer for almost 20 years, Capital One has made them look bad. Let's see, the biggest Chase in town? One walk up ATM, outside. One more weird one inside, by itself. And one, to drive up to. All of that as of 2018 or so. Can't be sure it's still like that but anyway... This Capital One, which isn't even the biggest. Or, I don't think it is. Has two whole lanes outside with two ATMs, EACH! And I think... 4 ATMs in the inside area. It might be 2 but it's been so long I can't be sure. That's probably because, for withdrawing money, there are certain regular ATMs around town you can use without paying ANY fees, if you are withdrawing from a Capital One account. Also, at least once or twice a month, Chase's only drive up for after hours ATM, would not be working. I haven't had that problem here yet.”
