Hours: Based on the reviews, Saint August Maison is a fully vegan kitchen in Slidell that offers one of the most intentional dining experiences. The food is delicious and the space is beautiful. The oyster mushroom po-boy with handmade fries was memorable, and the Raman bowl, coral tooth mushroom, and plant based tacos on romaine boat were the best meal all week. The nachos were fresh and layered with real texture, and the gumbo was rich but clean. The Lemon Poppy Scone was soft with a light glaze. The Avo’Mame Toast is exceptional, creamy and bright, and the breakfast sandwich with vegan bacon is smoky and balanced. The vegan nachos are somehow super healthy, and the grilled cheese was absolute amazing. The specials are incredible, and the coffee is always on point. The owners are sweet and kind. Game nights here allow trying new things. The food makes you feel happy. There are also entertaining evenings with gripping and funny actor performances.
