Dropped in for lunch less than an hour before closing & received full accommodation without rush. Food & spirits were excellent with lots of options to choose from. Excellent & friendly service. My wedding reception was held at Blanc and Brick on 01/17/2026 and it was absolutely amazing!! Theresa and her staff are incredibly awesome. Theresa took my vision and made it reality. I wanted something simple but beautiful. The decor was so classy and elegant! It was far better than I could have imagined! The food was delicious as well! We had such a great time my husband wants to do again! Thank you Blanc and Brick for making my special day amazing and even more memorable!!”

“My wife and I got married at The Venue 11/2/2025 and I have to say, we had the most perfect wedding experience. To start, Kelsey (the owner) is SO flexible with scheduling your event. They offer hourly, half day, full day, and so on for booking. We booked a half day for our wedding and that ended up being perfect. We were allowed 2 hours prior to the start of our allotted time to show up and set everything up (but since there were no other events that day, Kelsey was extremely accommodating with the time). My wife used this time to use their beautiful bridal suite with her bridesmaids to get ready!

The venue itself is beautiful. When we arrived, Kelsey had already set everything up and decorated everything exactly as we had asked! We had our reception in the back yard under some big beautiful oak trees underneath lots of nice romantic string lights overhead that stretch the width of the entire space. They had speakers to play music out back, and a speaker with a microphone for the officiant and us two to use during the ceremony. Kelsey went above and beyond, controlling the music, lining up the wedding party, and essentially ensuring everything went off without a hitch.

For the reception, the indoor space was decorated by Kelsey as well. She even hung up our neon sign we had made for the wedding! They had set up our food we had catered next to their bar, where she also had all of our drinks on ice for the guests to enjoy. She played our music using their sound system all night.

The location could not have been more convenient either. Kelsey owns the bar two buildings down from the venue, The Golden Goat (side note: this is an AWESOME bar). Our guests were able to get alcoholic beverages from their bar (of course, you can opt in to having a bartender at the venue, but we did not) and continue to enjoy the reception. After the event ended, we made our way back to The Golden Goat and had a great time there. There are plenty of other bars around the corner as well for bar hopping if that’s something you and you’re group are interested in!

When everything was said and done, all we had to do was pack up everything we brought and all of the wedding gifts, and we were on our way! Kelsey and her crew handled clean up.

I’m not exaggerating when I say that this was a fairy tale wedding for us. Kelsey stayed the whole time and ensured that everything was perfect for myself and my bride on our special day. We would 100% recommend The Venue to anyone looking for the perfect place for any event!”

“The front desk staff have always been exceptional and welcoming. The beds are clean and comfortable but the surfaces of the floors, desk, chairs, and counters, could use more attention when being cleaned. I mentioned this at the desk and they thanked me and immediately made a note of it.
This is a reasonably priced place to stay when traveling with pets and we have been satisfied with each stay.”

“We had a good time. The atmosphere was fun & friendly. Our biggest gripes was about the thin nacho cheese that doesn't cover all the nachos, the worn out shoes and not enough bathroom stalls for all the people they entertain. All in all, we had fun.”

They also helped with suggestions on what to do as tourists! Only 20-30 mins from French Quarter! They truly go above and beyond to make sure your stay is comfortable and excellent.
