“Love it. If you want quality clothing and not just the cheesy NOLA fare, this is the place. Even their cheesier stuff is high end. Much of their wares are a major upgrade from costume quality, and clothes you could wear daily.

“My son and I went to the store on Magazine St. in March of this year. We were in town to see family friends and go to the Irish Italian Parade. I have always wanted to purchase from this store since my local friend told me about it years ago. The store looked amazing and had to many things and different price points to buy. But what I really appreciated is how they made my 7 year old feel special. It's the first big trip he could remember going on and he had his own money to spend. He picked out several things and the girls at the counter were so patient and talked to him like he was just any regular ol person coming in to make a purchase. He loved it. As for me who is from New Orleans but moved away years ago and lives in the Midwest, I loved getting things to bring back home that are unique and totally Louisiana. Great store and friendly employees.”

“Beautiful African attire, earrings, and scented oils. Sani is a master in her craft. She has an eye for selecting pieces for consumers. She selected this one, I tried it on and loved it. I told her the scent I wanted, and out of the 2 oils she gave me, Yara was my favorite.

“I had heard about this dreamy little shop before I planned a trip down from MN so when I was in NOLA for the first time back in December, I had to go. I immediately fell in love with the Heliotrope scent and have since purchased it in just about every version it’s available.
I did have a tiny hiccup after ordering some oils and lotion online. I could not get any of the scent I was expecting so I reached out and was quickly offered replacements free of charge and was only asked to ship back the originals with a label they provided. The replacement items were perfect, exactly what I was hoping for. Amazing customer service.
I hope this shop is around for another hundred years so I can continue purchasing over and over.”
